Simple and easy to use, effective, and priced reasonably. I set it up to monitor temp and humidity inside of my Tegu's hibernaculum. It allows me to monitor the conditions remotely, without the need to open the hide frequently, thus reducing stress on the animal. I recommend this product.

EDIT: just changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars because I figured out it was user error. I did not receive any directions with these units and did not realize I needed to set it to "out" to get the temp readings from the probe. Both are showing within 1.5F +/- so fairly accurate for digital. Feeling dumb, but happy I figured it out.Original review: Ordered two of these along with two regular liquid thermometers to keep better track of temp and humidity inside my incubator currently housing chicken eggs. Humidity reads fine compared to other hygrometers in the unit. The temp however WILL NOT read above room temp at 77F. Disappointed as I even purchased two just incase one didn't work and both read exactly the same temp wise.

great works perfect like they say it would very very very reliable, you can count on it and it is still going over 40 days and the price ? well try and find something of this value for double this price

Just what we needed, we need to monitor the temp and humidity for hermit crabs.. kkkddJust what we needed to monitor my daughters hermit crabs we need to keep the tank a certain temp and humidity level because the little buggers were dying this product did both with great accuracy and I noticed as a bonus is measured the room temp too.. I measured inside the room and inside our reptile tank great product simple to install just place the two wires inside the tank with the suction cups included put two batteries in the thermometer and you are done no programing just set and forget

Was alright but not very accurite both my other hygrometer read 10% less then this at all times so idk how good it is. And the inside and outside always read exactly the same which didn’t make sense

These temperature and humidity monitors are exactly what I needed for my seed germination trays under grow lights. The shipping is fast and the price is great. You can easily switch from monitoring the conditions inside the tray to checking the conditions in the room. My Clivia seeds need a consistant temperature and humidity, and these monitors also track the min/max readings. I was so pleased with the first one I bought, that I ordered 2 more of the monitors so that I can have one on each shelf of the grow light set up. These are far better than the inside-outside temperature monitors that read the relative humidity - I want to know the readings inside the trays.

It seemed to work fine for my first incubation. The metal probe did not measure the temperature of the incubator correctly, so I had to put the whole unit inside and read it through the window. I am halfway through my second incubation and alll of a sudden the temperature reads 102°F when it's actually only 99.5 °F. This is not the first time it has done this. DONT DEPEND on this unit. I am VERY unhappy with it. I wasted my money AND my expensive eggs are surely lost.

The first one cracked apart and also has sensor issues. It was replaced quickly and I have no issues with customer service or the new unit. If you have the money I would recommend a more expensive unit. But for the price this one works.
