Perfect headphones with some fat bass
Very loud, with a very deep bass, they are big for ear Buds but are comfortable and they are very light, high quality and I good price, the test of time will see how long they last but that's the same as anything you purchase

Great sound
The Sony range is more limited than is used to be but these are a great all-rounder. The cheaper phones they do, the EX110 are very neat but sound is disappointing, quite thin at both ends of the spectrum. Got a backup pair of these in case sony discontinue them as people seem to want wireless ones now.

Just Above Average - Maybe
The other half bought this pair and a cheaper pair of another brand. Generally they find that generic "straight" in ear headphones will not stay in their ears, so they buy ones that have the buds at and angle. These ones stay in place exceptionally well and the sound quality is good from a non audiophile point of view. The noise reduction is a very much personal thing and I have yet to find an in ear plug that cuts every noise out completely. These do a reasonable job for the money.Bottom line - If you want a branded in ear headphone these are not overly expensive and do an above average job. There are cheaper non branded in ear headphones that will do the job just as well. It's your choice.I do not receive any payment or free goods for writing these reviews. I am just happy to share my views on my purchases with fellow like minded Amazonians in the hope that you may find it helpful.

Listen carefully
I know for a FACT these aren't the same earphones. I had this exact model (XB55AP) for 2 years. I know the sound like the back of my hand. This is not the same. There's no bass. Awful sound. Plasticky feeling. I can even tell from the flimsy weight that these are not the same headphones I had for 2 years. Now I've scrolled through the reviews (sorted by review date) and see that many of the recent reviews are claiming the same thing. Also, the box was partially open and there was earwax inside, which tells me someone else had already tried them, wasn't happy and returned them. I will also be returning them. My standard apple earphones, the cheap £20 wired ones, sound twice as good as this. Something is not right here. The old, original XB55AP's were awesome with a deep, punchy bass. Not this.

Sweet spot on quality and price
Previously bought a cheap pair of Sony headphones to go with my phone. OK for podcasts but let down on music. These are really nice tough quality build both headphones and lead, also come with nice carry bag. The sound quality is really good (close to my H900Ns) I guess because the drivers are better quality and clearly are larger. This does mean they stick out your ear if you rest your head to one side so not so comfy. Great value in my opinion.

Probably not for audiophiles, but very good for in-ear buds at this price
Sound quality has been pretty great so far with everything I've played through them. Very good compared to other in-ear models I've used over the years at this price-point.Got these to replace a cheaper pair I bought for daily use, and for the in-line mic. Simple single button control and no physical mute switch, but the recording quality is pretty good when used through Whatsapp and similar apps, I've found.Overall very happy, good daily use set of headphones for a very good price.

Quality has declined
I've purchased them 3 times over the past 5 years. Quality of the material and sound has been drastically reduced. The real value of these headphones should now be £12 max. I don't recommend buying these.
