SNOWFOX Double Wall Insulated Stainless Steel Cocktail Shaker, 24-Ounce, Black/Gold

I got this along with a set of the cups that match. While the cups are terrible all the way around, this works well for what it is designed for, the only poor design aspect of this is that like the cups the cap is not a metal but a painted on color that starts to flake off fairly quickly. The other poor design with it is the rubber seal between the lid and the base. While it holds well and does not leak, when you take the top off to use it, the rubber seal always comes off the base and then you have to fiddle with it to put it back on, better design would have been to have a grooved ring where an O-ring could be put in there instead to help prevent the entire gasket from pulling off each time you take the top off.

See image to better assess the issue. If you press the top down to seal, it just pops up at an angle and will leak while pouring. Each time you use it requires fiddling with the gasket for a bit to enable a seal.The gasket seal for the upper portion is not fixed and makes it very hard to pour the contents without leakage. This became more pronounced after several weeks as the provided gasket does not hold up under normal usage. This is a beautiful product that does not meet the functional expectations.

If you shake your drink, you’ll have to hold it down from the top with great force or it spews. The rubber ‘seal’ will not prevent this because it separates from the mouth of the shaker. It’s impossible to hold the top on and keep the deal from coming loose. Basically this is junk. I returned it. My 30 year old shaker was better. Don’t waste your money on this expensive junk.

We purchased this shaker and the two matching martini cups for our beach vacation. Great purchase! The look, the seal and performance were spot on. We wash them all by hand when we are done.

For the price I wish it was cheaper but I mostly bought it for the looks of course and its insulation capability. Just used it for one day. It holds the insulation pretty good and doesn't leak but it does get cold "sweat" on the top portion where you take off. Doesn't effect it so much for me as the majority of the body or the lower half is thicker and easy to hold.
