Every fisherman needs one of these if you tie your own knots. It is very sharp and has no trouble cutting braided or mono line not matter the test lbs. It is very easy to use and cuts close to the knot without damaging the knot. I have one in every tackle box.

I have purchased 3 Boomerang fishing line cutters. I am an avid fisherman and do not fish a ton. The clippers when needed are always sharp and get the job done. Mine are attached to my ice fishing bibs, tackle boxes and my fishing tool holder on my boat. It's retractable tether keeps it out of the way while fishing and keeps it in one spot so I know where it is when needed. I plan to purchase a few more in the near future!

Granted, combining a nipper and a zinger into one tool isn't exactly like inventing penicillin, but I love this little gadget. Big enough to fit well in the fingers without being clunky, good ergonomics, handy, cuts well. Four stars instead of five because I don't know how long it will hold up or stay sharp, and five-star reviews usually seem fake to me anyway. Seems sturdy, though, and retractor spring feels strong. Liked the first one so much I bought a couple more.

This is my second time purchasing this product. Makes cutting tags and knots very easy. Strongly suggest attaching these nippers to your waders. I consider these a "must have" when fishing.

I like how small it is and can lock the blades closed easily. Fits anywhere. The carabiner should have been made with metal.

Clipped these puppies to my boat keys and now I always know where my line cutter is. More importantly it works as promised. Better then scissors, better then nail clippers. Going to buy more I like these so much. One snip and line is cut no matter what. Thanks guys for a great product.
