God's Love Alive in You: 1,2,3 John, James, Philemon (The New Inductive Study Series)

I love this study and I felt like it kept me more engaged with the Bible. I don't usually like studies because a lot of them tell me what the author thinks about scripture. This one shows you how to dive deeper into scripture.

This is my 2nd "book study" I've done from Kay Arthur. I highly recommend them. I really think they are better than the "fancy" interactive ones by popular women teachers. These are strictly studying scripture, verse by verse, with no topical spin put on them. They are an EXCELLENT resource - I have used one as a participant in a small group with other women, and now I am using this one to study one on one with someone who has never done a directed Bible study before. I think they would also be fine to use for an individual study.No flash, no bells and whistles, cost effective, well-written, works at a good pace of a chapter per week. It is my goal to work through every book of the Bible with these studies.

I tried sudying the book of James in the Bible myself, but some Ideas were challenging... This book by Kay Arthur was a great addition to the word of God. It asks thought provoking questions while forcing you to go indepth of the Word. It is also helpful in understanding application (which is where I struggle ;) ) Enjoy!

This is probably the 4th or 5th bible study by Kay Arthur I have done. I have never been disappointed with any of them. This year I have been feeling led to study LOVE and this study fits right in!It's convicting, moving, encouraging and heart changing. It's clear and easy to use, cross referencing other scriptures with the main books you are studying. This really allows you to get a bigger picture about how to live your life for God.I highly recommend this bible study and others Kay Arthur has available.

I love these studies. By marking tbe text of the Bible and cross-referencing with other verses you get a thoughtful and in depth look into the Word of God.

As always, Kay Arthur provides a good study of the book of James. If you are familiar with her technique of Bible study, and are on your own and do not have a Precepts class available, this is a good options...not as in depth as her classes...but a good study nonetheless

These are wonderfully rigorous Bible studies, encouraging a lot of self study.

Another excellent book in the study series. We studied Philemon at our bible group and this book was invaluable to my preparations. Highly recommended!
