Awesome! I have had a few hats with lights on them they usually are quite dim and just give you a bit of light throw. I mostly use them for hunting and snow blowing (a little bit of added safety). This light it bright! Hat it comfy! The recharging is great. The older hats I used had a little plastic housing that had two AAA batteries. It seemed like everytime I go to change the batteries the housing was broken and I would have to electrical tape them back into place. This solves that issue. I will be buying more of these as the light is actually useful unlike many other hat lights.

I purchased this for my husband half joking and half seriously. We have a wood stove and some nights it is necessary to go outside I the dark to get or split a log. This is lighter than a traditional head lamp and will provide more warmth. We also had started mountain biking after work in the fall but now it is dark so early a light would be necessary. He has not used this for that purpose. He likes the material - it's a poly - I wasn't sure he would like. It is very bright and the lights/battery pack is not heavy. Money well spent. Would be excellent for camping. Perfect for that emergency in the dark when you need your hands and can't hold that flashlight. Do not look directly at the light -- very very bright. I have added pics so you can see in action. First is on my head but not straight on as to not blind, second is looking at it while it was laying flat, and lastly, in darkness on my deck, NO FLASH used on any pic. There last pic, I am looking at the ground with it on, but notice the amount of light it gives off --- perhaps I should have had a measuring tape laid out, so you can see how much area is illuminated. I purchased a second one for others to assist in the wood chopping, camping, fishing, etc. UPDATE:: 3/5/17: the lights are sill working nicely on my husband's hats. We had to throw out one b/c of an incident with "great stuff," a dark attic, and a leaky roof; it was not the hat's fault, but it was a casualty in that incident. I just purchased another black one as a replacement. I also just purchased my own (purple as to not confuse them). I bought mine so I can read at night and not disturb my husband from sleeping! IMPORTANT (the main reason for this update -- THIS PURPLE ONE RUNS SMALLER! It fits my head ok, but it is smaller than the black one. The back of the hat also looks different... see pic: there is an opening. Not sure why. I rather like the first style, but it doesn't interfere with the light performance, so I don't mind. I still love, would buy again.

Perfect! I have a family of hunters so anything camo is always a hit. These are great for farm chores when especially when it gets dark super early, also fun for sledding at night. Perfect little headlights that stay put!

The light is very bright and perfect for walking my dog at night. The charge seems to last at least a week. I only gave it four stars because it's rather short and doesn't fully cover your ears. I have a rather small head with thinner hair. It is warm but I wish it was bigger.

Works very well. Also the light has a very good life span. I’m gonna get a few more just to have some spares.

Is it fashionable for us small headed dudes?, no. Is it practical, damn right. I own multiple for the day to day and at the farm. Easy to clean, the light is perfect but the charge time is slow. Great material, but sticks out and makes me look like mushroom man from the Mario universe. But when it snows, and it's dark, the toque is perfect for brushing snow off the vehicle.

Ist perfekt zum grillen im Winter. Mein Mann ist total begeistert und mit der Anschaltefunktion im hinter teil der Mütze ist es klasse. man kann die box auch entfernen und somit die Mütze auch waschen. Die LED strahlen genau dahin, wo man hinschaut, somit muss man nicht den kopf extra nach unten oder oben schieben, man kann ganz normal arbeiten und muss sich nicht verstellen.
