2 of the 3 that I bought are super soft. The other is kind of rough & scratchy in a few spots. Aside from that, they’re the perfect throw to use while watching tv, traveling in the car, or nodding off for a quick nap.

Their lightweight coziness for fall with all this color... the fact they appear hand sewn.

Ordered lot of 3; received today. Will most certainly order more.Fabric is old and soft, and the colors vibrant and beautiful. Patterns are different for each. Every blanket is unique in its own right.The blankets authentically smell of India. Washing blankets now. Smell will not deture me from purchasing more. Just wash them, as you would any other new thing you're bringing into your home.Blankets are well enough made, although stitching is a little poor in some places.Great authentic blankets for the cost.Update: 2nd order is just as great. I ordered 5 this time. Blankets are all the same sizes. Some have stains or small rips, but that just adds character. Same smell. I would recommend soaking and washing twice, and adding baking soda to the load. I also used essential oils in the dryer to help with the odor. All blankets washed and dried beautifully. Blankets are really beautiful, unique, and soft.

These are beautiful and perfect to throw in the vehicle when traveling. We bought them to take to the beach but they never made to the actual sand because everyone loved just lounging in the house with them. They did smell terrible right out of the package but after washing there was no smell.

This coverlet is too cute and much nicer than I expected. I have to cover my furniture because of my dogs and of course, want everything to look nice, so this coverlet is perfect. Colorful and decently made. Under different circumstances, I would use for a kids bed, throw blanket or even beach/picnic blanket. Each side has different patterns/colors so two sides to use! I will probably wash on gentle and cold to keep intact.

I purchased 2 kantha blankets from this seller. They’re not my 1st Kantha blanket purchases, but they are my 1st from this seller. I know that they are vintage fabric & most of the time used sari fabric that’s been cut up & recycled. So I’m prepared for patches & old pre-owned fabric that’s been sewn together. What I wasn’t prepared for was graffiti on 1 of my blankets! It’s not even just small writing, it’s large letters in black ink that is 10 inches long & a little over 3 inches high. I cannot even understand what it says. Don’t get me wrong these are very pretty prints that I’ve received, & of course the 1 with the black ink written on it is the prettier 1, that’s just my luck! They’re also very soft. The kantha stitches are really not that great, but at the same time these blankets didn’t cost a whole lot of money, so ya pay for what you get. They did have a bit of a smell to them when I took them out of the box, not terribly bad but still not very pleasant. But that did go away after washing. They are perfect for lightweight summer blankets for the bed, note that they are not warm at all but they’re not supposed to be. They would also be great for picnics, or at the beach, to keep in the car, to use as a tapestry, or to even drape over your couch, plus many many more things. I would’ve been much happier with this purchase if my 1 blanket didn’t have huge writing on it. Nobody would be happy about that. I’m actually really worried to shop here again not only because of my not so great experience but also because of now reading the reviews that are saying that some people are receiving blankets with swastika prints on them. I get that it’s an Indian symbol but it’s also a swastika symbol, & I think that it’s just in very poor taste & that they should not even be mailed out to anyone ever. When purchasing from this company I’m guessing that it’ll either be a hit or miss, mine was a miss. Thanks for taking the time to read my review
