While filled wit beautiful illustrations I was looking for more of the style shown on the cover. There are several pages that have rather flat renditions of the designs. While they are still beautiful I would have liked the whole book to be more shaded, three-dimensional designs.

A good book needed for my work. It will inspire me to my sculptures in stone. Ornaments are fantastic. Are the basis for further work.

Pretty...unclear.
Great designs, it the quality if the images are pretty poor. Hard to see some of the details...okay, most of the details if you are trying to replicate the design.

Cool book, they just gave me a beat up copy. Hard to imagine anyone sending a book in this condition. Won’t be ordering from these folks anymore.

まず、デザインの大きさが半端じゃないです（笑） 表紙にあるような花は直径７㎝ほどで書かれています。 柱にあるようなパターンは最大１０㎝幅。詳細に見れていいです。 全体の雰囲気は表紙にあるデザインの類似のみで、ほかに部屋の中の暖炉付近や、鏡、紋章とかはないです。 あとは唐草がかなりアップで載っているので絵を描く人にはいいかと思います。 私はジュエリーに使いたかったので、大きすぎるなと思ってしまいましたが、気に入っています。

Les dessins reproduits sont très fins et forment une bonne base pour qui veut s'en inspirer. Un régal pour qui aime cette époque baroque.
