Nahji is even more beautiful in person than in her photos. I am an adult collector. Her earrings come out and can be replaced. The pearl part is separate from the dangle (the dangle is cheap looking). Her dress is a soft knit and good quality, it velcros in the back. Her leggings are also nice with a printed pattern on them, they slide on and off. She does not wear underwear. Her head band is attached with a thread, like the dangles and bangles are also cheap looking (appropriate for a child, something I will replace). For now I've left the clear plastic bands that keep her shoes from coming off of her feet in transit. They are made of a rubber and fasten at the back. Her choker comes off and is somehow attached to her top. I had to snip a thread to separate it from her dress. Her hair is super soft with the scalp beneath it painted dark. I've attached a photo. I've now added Rahel to my collection. Like Nahji, she is more beautiful in person than in her photo. I like her jewelry better. One thing to be aware of, her necklaces are not actual beads, although they do like them them. If you want to remove them, they have to be cut. I left the dangles on her earrings as they are quite pretty. Her plastic bracelets are rubbery so they can be rolled off her hand (although it might be harder for a child to take them off or put them on). Her outfit is quite stunning and well made. Her top is a bodysuit. her shoes are sandals without backs so the attachment bands will stay on until I make her new shoes.

She is gorgeous! My little girl wanted a Wellie Wisher for Christmas, which we got her. I was drawn to this doll during the time I was shopping for the wellie wisher, but passed it up bc it wasn’t what she’d asked for. Fast forward, and the wellie wisher has been well loved but was unfortunately lost at a park. As a replacement, I thought I’d give this girl a try. I am so pleased with her! She is very pretty and her hair and skin are so soft! Great details, sweet story. I love that she is so much more possible than the wellie wisher, which always annoyed me for the price point (although my daughter didn’t seem to notice). My daughter is thrilled about Lauryce and loves that she can use Willa’s clothes and accessories. While I did like the Wellie Wishers and still do, I’d venture to say this is a much nicer doll! Especially for the price!

This doll was gorgeous. The eye color was unique and the clothes and jewelry were cute and fun. I gave it to my niece and she adored her. "She's pretty!" was the first thing she exclaimed when she saw her.

"Zelia": Very Beautiful cheerful looking doll with lots of auburn hair and lovely skin tone. Though a redhead doesn't really seem the type to be a farm girl on a Brazilian coffee plantation..... Her little sun dress is very sweet. I bought this in order to make a new wardrobe and give to a little girl. So the silly back story and accessories are chucked. This is going to be a girl doll with 1930's style wardrobe. I want her to be more interesting than a cliche environmentalist SJW doll. Also, great secure packaging.

Absolutely beautiful! Great quality, gorgeous face and I love the educational aspect too. I got this for my 16 month old because she LOVES dolls (took all small parts away for safety). She had found my childhood American girl doll and I wanted to get her something that she'd still love but wasn't so expensive that she'd ruin at such a young age. These dolls are such a great value- extremely affordable but not flimsy on quality. The doll is a huge success with my 16 month old. She won't put her down! The only thing- I wish the characters had books like the AG dolls to get more in depth with their culture and characters. Hopefully they'll come out them! I'll definitely be buying more of these gorgeous dolls for my daughter.

Okay, so this is gorgeous doll that any little girl would love. I purchased the doll based on the picture (and to be fair, the picture is the same on the box). My niece is 1/4 African-American so she has light brown skin and medium brown hair. (She also has blue grey eyes). I cannot find a doll with these features so I was excited to get this doll and my plan was to modify the eyes so she would finally have a doll that looked like her. Of course, when I got the doll I was dismayed to find that her skin tone and hair were much darker than pictured. Again, all in all, a beautiful doll but as my intent was to find one similar to my niece's unique coloring: I had to return it. My hunt goes on!

This doll is in par with Paola Reina dolls. She is beautiful and her jewelry looks metallic. I love the attention to details. There is even a hair band on the comb! I'm a collector and I'll treasure this doll for years.

Beautiful doll! My daughter is obsessed with American Girl Dolls, so I was worried about her snubbing the H4H Dolls. I preordered Nahji as soon as I was notified she was available. She came before Christmas as promised in a very attractive box. My daughter only just recently unboxed her and immediately fell in love. The doll is well made, with beautiful hair, flexible arms and legs and soft clothes. She's been carrying her around all weekend, brushing her hair and reading the story she came with. She also loves the friendship bracelet that was included. I only wish the dolls were 18" like AG so they could share clothes. Nahji is 14". Otherwise I LOVE HER and would definitely consider buying another in the future.

It's a lovely doll, but quite basic. The hair is fine and wispy, it's not a full head, etc. However, the doll's arms, legs, and head are attached by a cord? elastic? I don't know, I've never seen a doll made that way before.
