This was great! Seems to be good ingredients, and this brand’s vitamins always make me feel good. The regular prenatal vitamin (which I do take despite its drawbacks) is humongous and tastes terrible. This pill is smaller, smoother, and tastes kind of good.

I have been taking these as my DHA supplement since 2016, and have had them on my subscribe and save since then with a monthly delivery.Back in 2019 my delivery suddenly changed from the larger dark pills to the smaller easier to swallow white pills. It had a "New & Inproved" picture on the label and the entire bottle was different. I was happy with the new design and didn't think much of it. Since then it is seemingly random which pills I would get each month with my delivery, and both bottles claim to be a new and improved design.At first I thought "oh, they must just have some old stock still and I just got lucky last time." But it has been over a year and this is still happening. I almost never get the same type two months in a row.I decided to post a review with comparison for everyone to see what the differences are. I will only list the parts that are not the same in each pill but have posted photos for comparison of each.The white pills were my delivery for August 2020 expiration date 02/23.The dark (older style) was my delivery for September 2020 expiration date 02/22.Obvious differences are the style of the pill, design of bottle. It is formulated and distributed out of Santa Cruz, CA (USA) but is manufactured in Colombia.There are a lot more ingredients as well as extra nutritional facts.Differences in labels:Vitamin E (as d-alpha Tocopheryl) 30IUCholine (as Bitartrate) 50mgPurified deep sea fish oil 416mgOmega 3 fatty acids-DHA is sameHowever Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) is only 33mgMixed tocopherols 20mg (this is however listed as an ingredient on the other type but without an amount)Orange peel essential oil 15mg.Ingredients differences: soybean oil, yellow beeswax, silica, lecithin (soy), ascorbyl palmitate. Gelatin, natural caramel color, natural orange oil, zinc oxide, carob(?)Contains: anchovy, sardine, mackerel, and/or wild sustainable deep sea pacific ocean tuna.White pills differences:These are copyright 2019 (new design) and are manufactured in Sunrise, FL (USA)These have a much more simple list.EPA is a higher amount at 57mg.No nutritional info besides the omega 3 fats.Ingredients differences:Highly refined fish oil (anchovy) -this is the ONLY fish listed for this formula. This is probably the largest differences in the formula IMO.Soft gel shell - modified starchThis is also where the natural mixed tocopherols are listed as a preservative but with no amount.I personally prefer the style of the white pills and find them less odorous and easier to swallow. I do wish they varied their sources a bit but it is manufactured in the USA which likely causes issues.It drives me insane that I keep getting both types randomly. I understand there may be different amounts at different distribution hubs and it may just be old stock - but this has been going on for over a year now. "FIRST IN FIRST OUT" goes through my head every time I get a shipment. Perhaps they are still having both types manufactured at this time. Who knows. With that said, there is quite the difference between the two and If I were buying this for a specific ingredient reason I would be very upset if I received the wrong type. (For instance, the white pills do not seem to have any soy ingredients which many people have issues with.)

I’ve purchased this brand many times - have been on them for years - and they are usually small citrusy smelling capsules with a very faint hint of fish if maybe I burp after. This package smelled like horrible rotten fish and the capsules were very large purple ones, nothing like any of the other ones I’ve received in the past 2 years! Idk if a different brand was falsely packaged and sold as rainbow light or if rainbow light just changed their product for worse. Would not recommend it. I tried taken it for the past several days but it’s pure torture just opening the bottle. I have to hold my breath. Can’t stand them. Will try to order from elsewhere to get the original small citrusy capsules. If this is truly the new version, I’ll be switching to another brand.

Absolutely LOVE these prenatal vitamins!! Started out with some basic ones from the store and just didn’t feel like I was getting enough out of them while I was pregnant with my first child. I saw a mom I follow on IG said she swore by these, and never had morning sickness, while she took these with all 4 of her kids so I decided to switch since these had a lot more vitamins in them.. And they seemed to be great! I took them the entire pregnancy and while I was breastfeeding and never had any issues. I never had morning sickness either, cannot say if these helped with that or not. But if I get pregnant again I will absolutely be taking these Rainbow Light vitamins again!

Love this brand, it has everything in one multiple vitamin. Perfect vitamin size, and easy to swallow, and no after taste!

It's hard to say if this is actually working as a supplement, but I'm going to assume it is and will continue taking it throughout my pregnancy since I'm not really a fish eater. The pill is fine to swallow, but it definitely has a fishy smell and occasionally I get the slight fishy afertaste. Since it's a gel capsule the pills also stick together in the bottle sometimes. That being said, it's easy to take and it's worth some fishiness to ensure I'm growing a healthy baby.

I was looking for without gelatin DHA and found this better from others
