Works great
Easy to install, the drill bit is included, instructions are clear and easy to follow. My only complaint is the price for 2 screws, 2 nuts, 2 pieces of metal (about 6 sq in)... You do get what you pay for, in the form of reliability and function, but boy is that some "expensive metal" !!!!! That said, I'd buy it again rather than risk someone flipping a breaker accidentally and potentially harming someone "miles away, working on an overhead power line".... So, for peace of mind, it's worth the price.

Well made but way overpriced.
Fit fine and works well but it is way to expensive for what you get. Most other ones were about $40 and this one was almost double that.

Five Star
Had kit installed by a electrician. Installation went very smoothly. This set up allows you to run as many circuits you want as long as you don’t overload the generator. I’m running a 7500 watt Westinghouse dual fuel generator purchase from Amazon. Enough to power most of my home.8/9/2018 Had a two hour power failure today, generator interlock kit worked like a charm. Just one day after electrician installed unit.

High quality
Good quality aluminum and sturdy. A bit pricey for what you get but it will operate and last a long time.

Does the job for less but still overpriced
I have installed this per the instructions and I find that it does in fact keep the generator breaker from being on at the same time as the main breaker. I installed this model in my GE 200 amp garage panel. I have a different brand (Interlockit) lock out device on my identical 200 amp GE panel in the house. I have a 400 amp total service from the utility. Now, I will say that the Interlockit brand device is far superior to this item. But the one from Interlockit was about $165. This one, although not as 'well done' as the Interlockit device does the job and cost $100 less. And frankly, if you have any common sense - you should be able to handle the switch over from the main to the generator without any of these devices. But, they are required by code and more safety is a good thing. But, $65 or $165 for a couple pieces of aluminum that could be machined by a high school shop student (or stamped out faster for less) and a few stickers / fasteners is outrageous.

Nicely designed and packaged interlock...
This interlock is easy to install, but I do strongly suggest you let an experienced licensed electrician do the install. It does require removing the dead front from the panel and drilling it. Have a centerpunch handy so your drill bit doesn't walk on you. Be sure to match the interlock to your panel manufacturer, type and main breaker orientation.

work's
I liked it. It work very well. Easy to put together take me about 20 minutes to do the whole thing. Make sure you have a drill so you can drill out the holes in the panel box lid. It also fit perfect was not loose. I recommend it especially the fact that it is illegal not to have one.
