I usually don't write reviews but I felt like it is simply the right thing to do for this coil. I bought 3 of these to go on my 1998 Mercury outboard 90 hp ELPTO and they work great. I was honestly skeptical about buying these because every boater know the misery of breaking down on the lake but I'm glad I took the gamble on these. The OEM coils were4 times expensive as these so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try them out. I bought these because my boat motor was hard to start and I noticed the boot on the plug wires was deteriorating. These new coils fixed the problem for sure. Boat starts at the first turn of the key now. I'm very grateful

Direct replacement for OEM parts for a fraction of the price. I replaced all three on my Mercury 90hp 2stroke ELPTO outboard. Easy install and the engine is running great now.

Bolted right on in the factory location. The engine ran really good with a fresh set of plugs. The factory coils lasted over 20 years. Time will tell with these. So far no complaints.

I purchased 4 of these for my boat mercury 115 2 stroke, perfect fit, my boat is back up to speed.
