Chris Colfer is a gifted storyteller. Retelling famous fairy tales for new generations of children is magical, fun and something to be admired.

Brought back memories of these stories, some of which you just don’t see anymore, many have illustrations that make the story come alive. My daughter requested the “old classics” to read to her children—this fit the bill! I’ve bought again to gift others in the family. It’s a beautiful book.

My four year old loves the stories Chris Colfer has compiled in this book. We are also big fans of the Land of Stories Series. This is my third time purchasing the book because one of our dogs loves it a little more than my four year old, and he has eaten it twice. My favorite thing is that it isn't just the Brother's Grimm or Hans Christian Anderson or whatever, it's a combination of all of the stories and nursery rhymes I grew up knowing and loving. It's well written, engaging and delicious (according to the dog). An unbeatable combination!

It came late hence 1 star down but the book is a great read. My daughter loves it. I like the graphics and it’s loaded with classic fairy tales. We’re actually stacking up with the whole series.

If I could give it 6 stars, I would. I was amazed at the size, weight and overall look of this book. It has sooooo many of the children stories that have been around, forever. We have a 5 year old nephew and he loves to read. I hope we have many days to share the stories that we grew up with, but still just as good today. Yes, don't wait! Order today.

WOW! SO WONDERFUL!! This is the best Fairytales book I have always wanted to have. Magical pictures, very bright and colorful. The font is amazing for my 7 yr old to read. The pages are so smooth. He loves to read and listen every night. I wish it had pictures on the very first page where the stories begin. The stories are orignal without any twist. The best fairytale book . A must buy! I had ordered 2 months ago and got it before it was even in the stores. My son has been so thrilled with it ever since. Love the pictures❤️❤️❤️

すごく立派な作りの重厚な豪華本です。値も張りますがそれに見合うだけ作りです。字も大きく見やすいし、イラストがまたすごく素敵で、美術作品と言ってもいい位です。収録されているおとぎ話もなじみのあるよく知られたものばかりですが、原典により忠実な内容になっていて、日本では改作されたり削除されているあまり知られていない部分も結構含まれています。紙質も最上級。英語を勉強し始めた子供達へのプレゼントにもいいと思います。
