TASTES REAL
This spice mix smells authentic tastes authentic and livens up most meats/ Its worth buying for the Jatr so much more satisfactory than leakable sachets , Not a particularly strong burn so you can add Red Chilis and cook up a flavour with a moderate heat which leaves a good after taste. Will buy again .

Wonderful
I love this curry powder, I've been so fed up of brands saying it's mild, you buy and it blows your head off! This is full of flavour and is MILD!!!For those of us that can't eat hot foods it's a blessing.

Makes a delicious curry
This is a nice quality curry powder, knocked up a delish potato curry by making a paste with water, added onion, garlic and ginger, cooked the chopped ingredients added the curry paste, then the potatos with water and salt pepper to taste then added coconut milk and chopped coriander, really good flavour

Very good mild curry powder.
I like this basic, Indian style curry powder for most all of my Indian cooking. I transfer it to a ball jar, though, because it takes a while for me to go through so much curry powder. It's a very good value and has a genuine but mild flavor, with good depth. Now there is no one curry powder that is going to be complete, because they are all different. This one is mild, bright (yellow), skewed toward the more lightweight, colorful side (and I swear I detect a touch of hing). You can use a lot of it without the flavor overpowering the food, which I find is a plus, because it adds a lot of color without being overwhelming.Just remember, if you're new to Indian cooking, that this curry powder, like all curry powders, needs to be cooked to be digested. I cook it for a few minutes at least, on its own or with red pepper powder and other things, in part of the pan, in butter+olive oil, until it starts to brown, then mix in liquid and other things. Not cooking your curry powder and/or red pepper powder, is a sure way to get the kind of indigestible stuff you find at cheap Indian restaurants, food which should be served with a Pepcid pill. While you could make a basic curry using only this, I always add garlic, onion, ginger, hot pepper powder, and some other kinds of spices (like Rani garam masala or even fresh curry leaves). Curry powder was invented for the English and traditional Indian cooking uses the elemental spices, which is such a pain that I can't imagine anyone ever doing it, unless they like to cook all day, which is not in the cards for me.

Good indian curry powder on its own or great compliment to other dishes
I have been buying clubhouse curry from Amazon until it recently went out of stock and I switched to try some others. settled on this one. Not spicey (I can't tolerate too much slice at all ) so you can add cayenne or hot sauce or hit pepper etc. To spice up to individual taste which I prefer.I find this more flavourful on its own and to complement or enrich other dishes. I have used it to add more flavour to thai green and red curries for example. On its own works well in stirfrys with a bit of fresh ginger or garlic and broth or white wine. I agree with a few who mentioned it is more of a " madras " curry flavour.Ingredients: Coriander, Turmeric, Cumin, Mustard, Fenugreek, Black Pepper, Garlic, Fennel, Ginger, Dry Curry Leaves. (I think first three stand out the most but certainly coriander/cumin)I have a severe dairy allergy and am celiac (though not as sensitive in the gluten sensitivity as others). As a poster pointed out it did stare on the package the possibility of criss contamination. I found however this did not bother me, in terms of allergic reaction (dairy) or gluten (gas, rash, bloating etc) so I did seem it safe for me and will be happy to purchase again. I can only speak from my experience however so others may have different experiences and they can't guarantee against cross-containation

Delicious
I used to get my Curry powder from my home state of New York. The Curry powder that I got here in CA was terrible. I read your reviews and you said that Rani was the best and you were right. It is different from my New York spice but is delicious in its own way.

Good stuff!
I make a MEAN curry and the type and brand of curry powder is very important. I saw this one on the shelf of a local Asian market but it was sold out (a good sign), so I ordered it. Love it! Good stuff! Now my go to curry powder.
