Needed this to adapt by ResMed AirMini tubing onto my ResMed AirSense 11 elbow. The AirMini elbow, due to it's design, makes a loud hissing sound during use which is quite annoying to me. This works much better.

There is no locking mechanism to connect this adapter to the hose, so the hose easily falls out. And, in an effort to secure it to the hose, you will find yourself jamming the hose into the adapter, which will break the adapter. This is very poorly designed. Spend your money elsewhere.

The adapter word great

One thing I dislike about Resmed products is that they are not interchangeable. I have a full size Resmed Air 10 and an Air Mini. You can't use the former masks with the latter. This adaptor lets me use my new F40 mask with my air mini. Don't know why Resmed doesn't include one of these with their masks. It fits well but it is rigid plastic so you'll need to handle with care so you don't crack it.

This allows me to use all kinds of different masks with impunity. Fits and seals perfectly.

I can’t get these hose with my normal equipment, so this tiny part is so helpful.

Massive leaks out of this adapter, but can work If you put a few rubber bands on the bottom where the host connects basically making a rubber gasket or sorts.

Easier to use than the original part that came with the kit.
