Quilters' best friend
I just finished a large raw edge applique project and couldn't have done it without this stabilizer. It is lightweight enough to be easy to handle and stitch through yet strong enough to stabilize my fabrics while stitching down the appliques. Tearing away afterwards isn't a major chore as it is with some other products. I highly recommend this product.

Works Great & Easy to Use
I've used about 50% of this stabilizer and it hasn't let me down yet. I've been an embroidery machine since I figured out how to use my wife's embroidery machine that I got her for Christmas 2 years ago. I love the way this is easy to cut as you get it in the frames and after your embroidering is done, it does easily tear away almost like it was perforated which is what happens from the stitching. you won't be disappointed in using this. I'll be buying another role when I get low.

BE CAREFUL-This is extremely thin, lightweight stabilizer
I embroider very thin flour sack towels and even using three layers of this stabilizer, the edges were pulling away from each stitch. When I use the regular midweight stabilizer from Joann's, it looks fine. If this doesn't stabilize such thin material...WHAT does it stabilize? I'm actually very curious to know. It's my fault, I didn't read the description closely...but it says to use layers and then peel off each layer to not pull at stitches. But if three layers doesn't work...then with what fabric am I supposed to use this product?Four stars only because I'm new to this craft and maybe I just don't know what I'm doing!!!

Great stuff
This is an absolute must have for embroidery, and is the EXACT same stuff as sold at Joann's for half the price- really HALF the price! My mom has been embroidering for years and had no idea that amazon was so much more affordable. Also, this stuff tears off so gently and easily that it won't rip out your stitches. Can't go wrong here!

Lightweight, Crisp
Love sulky stabilizers! Crisp and easy to tear away. Never sheds "lint" that can build up in your sewing machine bobbin area. Also doesn't leave paper on the back of your embroidery. If I want a bit of a heavier stabilizing effect, I simply double. or triple it up. Even with multiple layers, it still tears away. In my experience, Sulky stabilizers are worth the money as they always worked as you would expect them to.
