Finished edge won't wet out
Overall I'm very satisfied with this product , my only criticism is that it has a finished edge that won't wet out. Not a big deal but a little annoying when it peels up and you have to sand it out and apply more epoxy over it. I would suggest trimming this edge before using the material otherwise this is a good product.

This was my first time using this product. No complaints, the glass is consistent and smooths easily.

Sheer fiberglass 0.03mm
Awesome fiberglass product. Silky smooth. Incredibly strong for its bulk, unless I have been fooled. This is the 21st century I wished for. Thank you Chinese artisans.

Fire resistant but not insulating
While this mat did prevent any live coals from burning the surface beneath it, it did not insulate the surface from heat burns and the carpet surface beneath it, which was under a wood burning tent stove, did melt, and the tent floor under the carpet melted through, and the Tyvek drop cloth under the tent floor also melted through. I now use firebricks under the stove with much better success for insulating properties.
