I only bought it for one job and it seems to work OK.

Bought this stud finder to find the stud to install my ceiling mounted pull up bar. The stud finder has a problem identifying where the stud is. Beeping all the time showing studs are all over my ceiling! Took the device to test in my attic where I could see clearly where the studs are and the device detected correctly. So, the conclusion is, it doesn't detect the studs covered with plasterboards.

Returned this within 2 hours of receiving. It's an easy product to use but potentially dangerous. Tested it out where I knew there were wires etc and got nothing. It was completely random of when it decided to alert you and then would change its mind if if detected something or not.

Product just didn't work. Didn't find studs,pipes or electric cables even when used where I knew they existed - chucked it in recycle bin!

It warns me that all my walls all over the place have AC wiring...Just a bloody gimmick and does not work
