Have not tried it out yet because I just received it. The paper however feels sturdy and the glitter specs are very pretty. They are the perfect size and amount on paper.

Excellent paper and the light sparkles are wonderful.

You don’t even really notice the glitter in the paper and the quality is really nice.

I ordered this paper in the cold press and i liked it so i decided to try the hotpress. I like the texture, the sparkles and the price was reasonable. The problem i had was i put washi tape around it to hold it on my board and to section it off into 4 spaces. The problem was when i removed the tape it pulled up the top layer of the paper. Its hard to describe but it seemed as if it had something to do with the sparkles in it. The sparles didnt mesh well with the cotton fibers so removing the tape left fuzzy border.

I'm not sure about the sparkles, since I'm not a "sparkly" artist. But I've gotten several of these and they are great for small studies and practice. It's not Arches, but is still a good grade, much better than some name brand WC papers like Strathmore and Canson watercolor paper. Theirs are wood pulp but this is cotton and the sizing is ok, too. I did a bunch of watercolor swatches on a Strathmore wc paper pad, but if I'd known about this back then I would have used it instead, since the way it spread, granulates, etc is closer to Arches than those papers.

Not sure this is 100% cotton. It is not so great for wet on wet watercolors. It buckles a lot. I guess I will use it for something else. The sparkles are nice. It wasn't expensive so I am not stressing over the cons.

Based on reviews I saw of this 100% cotton paper I expected it to be a lot better than it is. I don’t know why they put sparkles in the paper, but that really wasn’t my major complaint. I just don’t think it’s really cotton because it does not behave that way with watercolors. On the other hand it’s fairly cheap

Stunningly beautiful paper that really enhances landscapes and abstract. This is now my favorite watercolor paper and is replacing Arches for me. There is heavy buckling with wet on wet technique but it has not impacted my end results.
