Quality product. Perfect for camping with dogs. Pleasant Sounding.
When we were getting ready to go dispersed camping near Yellowstone this past fall, I added 3 must-haves to our tear-drop supply list: bear spray, bug-zapper, and dog bells. I looked at dozens and dozens of dog bells because while I wanted - above all else - for our 3 dogs to be safe, I didn’t want to lose my mind from hearing the constant tinging of annoying-sounding or high-pitched bells. Luckily, another reviewer posted a video with sound (I will try to add one soon), and I took a chance on these. Yes, they were slightly pricier than some of the others, but imho they were worth every penny. The bells are loud enough that any wild animal - friend or foe - will hear one (or the whole pack) of them coming, but they have a pleasing pitch and sound so as not to drive off any humans. The workmanship and materials are high-quality and have survived without a scratch being worn by our three big beasties through Yellowstone and 4 camping trips since. Highly recommend.

Made dog walks better!
These bells are perfect. I walk my dogs unleashed on our property throughout the day. I can hear their location and I think it warns all the wildlife they are around. Most of all, I love the snap feature which allows the bells to be easily unattached after the walk, so you they don’t have to wear them constantly. A feature I had not considered. Well made with leather straps. Los enough to hear, but not obnoxious.

The bells are great, the strap not so much.
I love these bells. Much better than the last bells I purchased (a different kind from a different vendor). Nice and loud, but not heavy. I can hear my pup when she's out in the woods. I can't speak to the durability of the bells yet. Have only had them for about a month. However, one side of the snap on the strap has already come off, so I have to figure out a different way to attached them. In the meantime I still have the second bell and I'm hoping the snap on this one stays put.

Very loud
I have two dogs, one if which us a pitbull with a massive prey drive. It doesn't matter the prey, opossums, raccoons, skunks... I bought these after a particularly bad month when he was sprayed 3xs by skunks trying to kill them. I did some research and noted the critters might he safer if they had more warning to get away. I got these and now our dogs are not allowed out after sunset unless they're wearing these. We have not had an issue all summer! They're quite loud - loud enough that when I'm in our front yard I can hear them in the back yard. The dogs did not like wearing them at first but quickly got used to them. I can't speak for bear warnings, thankfully we don't have any nearby that I've seen. But it seems to be keeping the nighttime critters safer in our fenced in yard!

Great bells with loud ringing
I was looking for a bell to put on my dog when I take him on trail rides with my horse. I wanted something loud enough I could hear, even if I was trotting or cantering, and also to alert wildlife we were there. I put both of these bells on a carabiner so they would hit each other, thus making a louder ring, and so I could put them on and take them off my dog's collar quickly. Works like a charm. Some reviews state the clasp breaks easily, which is another reason I started with the carabiner idea. I've only been using them for a few weeks, but so far so good. I can hear my dog at a distance, and I also like that my horse can hear him so the horse doesn't spook if the dog "pops" out of the bushes or runs up behind us. I only use them when trail riding--they would drive me nuts if I left them on the dog in the house. They are quite loud when using both of them together, which is what I wanted.

Walk in the woods
Bought these for my 2 doodles during hunting season. We walk them in a local park which borders a field and woods that could possibly be used for hunting. Perfect size and pleasant sound and can track them by ear when out of sight.Well made and nice leather straps with snaps.

The tone is so sharp!
I wanted these for my dogs on property to hear where they are in the dark. The tone was so sharp one of my dogs refused to move while wearing it and was afraid. Myself - I hated it! So it's a great designed product that may only be suitable for some households.

Great quality
Light weight and it sounds every movement; so, we can know where our dog is going, and accepts it.

Nice!
It’s pretty cute, and seems made well. We will see how it holds up.It’s very loud. No question I’ll be able to hear my dog when we’re in the woods if I lose sight of her, and hopefully scare off any other wildlife.

Nice appearance and sound, but may come off active dogs
Very nice traditional look with leather strap and real brass bell and clasp. Sound is pleasant. But if your dog is particularly active in the underbrush, branches may tear off the bell and strap. Screw-down clasp is a bit fiddly.Recommendation to manufacturer: replace the screw-down clasps with heavy-duty snap clasps.

Loud and stays in place
I have a terrier with a very high prey drive. When we are off leash in the woods she darts off in all directions. This bell let’s me know where she is so I can keep track of her, warns the critters she is coming, and surprisingly stays put with the snap closure. She has lost multiple bells in the past but so far so good. It is quite loud I worry it may be slightly too noisy for her but it does what I need it to do.

Too long/big for a cat
I like how it looks like, seems like well made. But it is just too long for my cat. This is more suitable for dogs. I have to return.
