These would be better for thin hair. I also don't like the metal peice on the band, it grabs my hair. I have very thick hair and struggle to wrap it twice.

But to be fair they're also the second hair ties I've ever used. Never needed anything like this before, but being more active than usual necessitated a quick solution. I originally bought a different brand was very disappointed in them.. My hair would get caught and tangled in them, and they were so thin I could tell just looking at one in person that they woupdnt last very long. I gave up on those and decided to get something else. Enter these hair ties These things are very sturdy and can handle a lot of stress. I've had no issues with tangled hair, and while it's in I can barely feel it, even if I do a really right ponytail. I love how sleek and subtle they are, being a very dark solid black with a small piece of black metal holding it all together. I very much recommend these.

The elastic is too soft and they do not grip tightly. But well made otherwise

This was a great score for my 20 year old son. He breaks the “normal” ones so easy. These are thick and worth it. He has already asked me to buy him more.
