Holy SNAP CRACKLE AND POP! Lemme just give you a run down right now. For one, the product is in a box that screams luxury, and lemme tell you, this straightener delivers a luxurious and smooth finish. It's super cool for one and ease of use is like 30/10! I love the digital display, the spring handle and how comfortable it is to use. It takes me pretty much 3 days to do my hair (obviously exaggerating) but this little gem gets it done FAST and spot on. Love it 1000000xs and more.

Took Too Many Passes to Straighten My Hair. Sending Back.
I thought my Chi flat iron had died, so bought this to replace it. Turns out it wasn't my chi, but the outlet. By this time, I had received this straightener and decided to give it a try. My Chi is 15 yo, so thought maybe technology had changed a bit since then, and this may somehow be better.It heated up super fast, and the temperature is adjustable to 446 degrees. Well crafted, and the red "handle" is sturdy covered with a comfortable rubber exterior. It took some getting use to, because my Chi doesn't have this handle, and I personally didn't like it. I didn't feel like a could press down firmly enough, and my hair didn't straighten out in one pass. So I tried holding it the old fashion way and still, I had to do a couple of passes to get my hair stick straight.I decided to compare with my Chi, and I could straighten the same amount of hair in one pass, maybe two in some areas, and it was stick straight. Wasn't quite so with this new straightener.So I'm sending this back, and sticking to my Chi!BTW, I have medium-thick Asian hair that has an ever so slight wave to it.

Much better than I expected
I got this for right under 7 bucks so I didn’t expect much and also didn’t expect it to be full sized. I thought it was a mini. It heats up pretty good. Just like hot tools or conair does. Good to straighten. Not to curl. I didn’t need another large flat iron so I gave it to my teenager. We have thicker curly hair that takes heat we’ll if that helps at all.
