Just couldn't cut it
This is for both the LifePower A2S and L Versions.I ordered both and both have not worked out for what I am looking for. It's actually labeled for Max Output of 120W, but definitely doesn't reach there.I've tried charging the Phantom 4 Pro Battery via AC and it charges, stops, charges, stops (because of the overload protection).I also tried charging a Dell XPS 15 9560 -- fully spec-ed out. Did not work like the reason above. The Power Bank never made it to the airport so, as confident as I feel traveling with it, I don't know if it would cause any trouble (even though it's under 100w)I'd say stay away from charging items around the 100w range of required power.

Great little power bank with essential features
I've had this portable charger for over 2 months now and I love the fact that it can pack so much into a small hefty brick. I carried this solely when I was on vacation and could charge my dSLR, phone, iPad in a bind when there was no wall outlet in sight. I was backpacking for 8 days straight and it was crucial to keeping all my electronics fully charged to capture all those memories and navigate my way. On a separate occasion, I've also used this to power my MBP 15" when I'm away from an outlet for more than 8 hours, and it lengthens my usage by another 5-6 hours, enough to last an entire day. I run Photoshop, Acrobat along with Windows on my machine, otherwise I'd have enough juice on the MBP on light usage (web browsing, Office) for the entire day.Pros: Design, large battery rating, dynamic safe mode, AC plug, price (comparable to others), battery meter (LED light bar on top), auto shutoffCons: my Fitbit didn't draw enough current via the USB port, so the power bank kept shutting off during charging.

Great Accessory for Camping!
Excellent product overall!I purchased this product with the promise of writing a review. After having some time to get familiar with the product and make full use of it in the real world I would have to recommend this to more people, especially for those going on camping trips or to weekend festivals. The battery provides power for most conventional devices without making any noise, perfect for nighttime camping accoutrements to set the atmosphere or for juicing up your phone before making the trip back home. I found that the lack of noise was most useful at night when my generator would be too loud to use, though it was still nice to have to recharge the battery pack during the day. The 3-prong AC outlet is the most useful feature on the device, but is also the greatest criticism I would have for the product. At it's standard price, I would expect to get 2 or 3 outlets on this for charging multiple devices. Thankfully, this can be remedied with a simple power strip, which DOES work with the device, however the total resistance of the devices being charged can't exceed what the outlet can provide through its single port. I also had some issue with certain light strips that had built-in power boxes, whether this was because they were causing too much resistance or not pulling enough power to keep the unit on I couldn't tell. This segues into my second criticism of the device, the idle power time is far too short. It got rather annoying having to turn the device on every time I went to use it, and if the device wasn't being constantly used it would promptly shut itself off. Having an idle time that is variable would be the best compromise, but a slightly longer time would be a simple improvement. I understand this is to help save power however. The device does a good job of retaining power over time, and the ability to check the relative level of power remaining by pressing the power button is rather invaluable in the field. The device also has a rugged aluminum casing, which does a great job of protecting the battery pack from light falls and knocking (no word on how it handles rough impacts) and the brushed finish covers light abrasions as well.My first impression of the product itself was how well presented it was within the box it came in. The device is packaged much like a smartphone, and it made the device feel like it was worth the money. Everything fit rather snugly within the box, and surprisingly, the box makes a good case for the device as well. The manual and necessary accessories were plainly laid out and easy to find. The device itself was rather simple to use and understand as well, making it a great accessory for travelers of all ages.*NOTE - will edit with photos... Misplaced the ones I had taken previously*

Great Product, More of a Portable UPS than a Powerbank!
I highly recommend the A2. Please read on,I was hesitant at first about purchasing this as my MSI is a bit of a beast, drawing up to 180 watts going full bore with it's dedicated GPU. But After a few days with the Killawatt meter, I was able to see that even at high performance, for what I tend to use my MSI for (lots of Virtualization, High-End Dev work, etc) The draw was well below the A2's 120 Watt's cap, by a good 30 watts. Running my high end laptop on high performance without the GPU engaged, I get about an extra two hours out of the A2 which I'm very happy with. With the MSI on low power and a bit of creative undervolting. I've gotten an extra three, almost four.My advice, if you are curious about buying an A2 Buy a Killawatt meter, they are here on Amazon for dirt cheap, I got mine for like seven dollars and just test it. Do what you normally do and keep an eye on the meter. I've had the A2 for a week now, I love it. It's behavior when my laptop does spike over 120 watts? it goes into safety mode until it drops back down. As far as I can what Lifepower has built here is less of a portable power bank and more of a portable UPS.As for the size and the warmth? I don't find the size daunting, It slips into the same pocket as my 180-watt power brick with room to spare in my laptop bag. And Warmth wise I've only had it get warm once when my GPU kept kicking on and off and it had to keep going in and out of safe mode.Compared to the other power banks out there, you may think the lack of a percentage display is a minus. But I'd take the dynamic UPS like behavior any day over that.
