Metal is superior to plastic
When researching the best power strip, metal was always preferred over plastic. So I took the plunge and bought this mid-range strip and so far I haven't had any problems. After bombing with the cheap plastic strips (not the bargain they're touted to be), I was ready for a strip that didn't fizz, sputter or spark when a light was plugged into it. The reviews on this product were excellent and I"ll add my endorsement to the long list.
