PARKER Duofold Centennial Fountain Pen, Classic Big Red Vintage, Medium Solid Gold Nib, Black Ink and Convertor

Parker Duofold Centennial has been the pen of my dream for many years. Finally, I was able to get my dream pen "Duofold Centennial Big Red" after many years of saving!I am extremely happy with my purchase. I like its appearance, construction quality, and its nib. My pen came with a medium nib but I exchanged it for a fine nib through the Parker Nib Exchange program. The fine nib gives me lots of feedback, which I cherish. The nib looks gorgeous. This will be my daily writer for many years (or decades) from now on.By the way, the Parker service was beyond what I had expected. It was a truly white-glove service. My email exchange with Parker U.S. (for the nib exchange program) was absolutely professional and the turnaround time was just a matter of hours!Again, I am very happy with my purchase.

中字を購入したが太すぎることもなくちょうどいい字幅インクフローがとてもよく、書いていてすごく気持ちがいい。脳汁がドバドバ出る。やばいです。引っかかり等ももちろん無く、滑らかで調整の必要性は全く感じない。あと何よりデザインが素晴らしい。バイカラーのニブが美しい。スペードの意匠がとてもカッコいい。素敵。凝った意匠でずっと眺めていたくなる。軸もオレンジ色がとてもキレイで、矢のクリップも優雅だし、華美な装飾はなくシンプルでありながら他にはないデザインで所有欲が満たされる。高かったけど、買って良かったと思いました。購入の少し前に錨のKOPエボナイト軸(10万くらい)を買おうか迷いました。ただ錨社はよくわからない意識高い系の新ロゴになってしまったので、いざとなると買う気が萎えてしまって、結果、それより少し安いくらいの値段でデュオフォールドを購入しました。購入後の感想としてはこっちにして本当に良かったです！！！（錨はニブのデザインが変わらない限り今後も買うことはないかな…）それはともかくデュオフォールドはマジでいいです。最高ですね。他は149Mや146F、M800F、中屋中軟やパイロットの845Mなんぞも持っていますが、デュオフォールドはその中でも文句なしに最上の満足度です。自分の様にインクフローが良いものが好みならデュオフォールドは「絶対」買いだと思います。おススメです。

I am entirely impressed with the latest reiteration of Parker's Duofold CentennialThe writing is superbly smooth without any hard starting , no leaks and such a joy to write withThe ink layout is generous without being too wetWorkmanship is good and quality is on par with a Pelikan or MBConsToo bad it does not come in Extra Fine nibIt came with 2 refills and a converter ... DO NOT toss out the refills once you are finished with them... I suggest you recycle them and syringe-fill them with your favorite inks ... it holds about 1.1ml vs the very inadequate 0.7ml capacity on the converter . Given the generous ink flow, the converter will need alot more constant re-filling vs the higher capacity disposable refill (and much lighter than the converter too )I would not hesitate to recommend this as a possible heirloom pen and a very reliable and handsome daily carry-around. You want to start a conversation in the boardroom ? get the Big Red version

I had some of the retro pens from the 70's, the basic ballpoint plastic ones, and always wanted a real red Duofold. The time has come. It is a wonderful pen, solid to hold, and it writes very well with its medium nib for my left hand.
