White Coat Skinfold Body Fat Caliper and Body Tape Measure Set

So I purchased this set primarily because it came with free prime shipping and only cost $5:47 at the time and I needed one.Being new to elite fitness, but knowing that my bmi/ body fat reading on my bathroom scale was just plain out to lunch I decided to work it out the old school way. The set is easy to use, you take 3 measurements in 3 places and then average the three and read it on the chart. It turns out I have 12% less body fat than my $80 bathroom scale can compute! So yay!!I know there are more detailed instructions on the interwebs than I listed above, including using body fat calipers in the different measurement locations for men and women - so I'm not going to go further in to that.So to summarize this quickly:Good product, build quality is good for price point (with gentle use I expect it to last), packaging and customer service are good and chart is easy to read.Only downside is it has no instructions for measuring women(sucks for the wife) - a link to the interwebs or some simple(but more detailed) pictogram directions would-be awesome.

This is great. I am trying to lose weight and the scale doesn't tell you the whole story. You can lose inches and not lose weight if it is converting to muscle. I use this every week to see my progress. My wife loved it so much that she has one now too. The tape works great to measure inches of loss or muscle inch gains. The caliper helps you know your body fat percentage. These items coupled with a scale you can see how much of a difference your diet and exercise is making. It comes with a handy chart for both women and men so you know ideal body fat percentage. So if you are trying to be health concious or a workout fanatic then you need this.

I don't think the calipers work as intended. If I pinch according to the picture on the chart, the slider on the caliper goes too far. I believe the calipers are designed to stop once they click into place. The ones I have don't click (it's as if the fit is off). Could just be user error but I stopped using them a month ago out of frustration.

The material looks really cheap and it does not "click" as it should, hence it is impossible to have an accurate measurement. Also, it came in a not-sealed "zip-lock" package, so it is impossible to know if it was new or not. Would recommend spending a few more dollars and buying a better one.UPDATE:The customer service got in touch and I could get the refund for the product without any problem. Because of the attention given, the product and the company deserve 4 stars.

The tape measure seems to only retract when it wants to. Very glitchy and the ratcheting stops for locking in a measurement only work about half the time. The calipers do not function nearly as well as the Accumeasure brand. The plastic piece that fits within the semicircular cutout is to small actually give you a tactile feel for when you have squeezed sufficiently. I contacted the seller but was just given the directions for use. Since I had clearly stated the issue with the device in my e-mail to them, they should have gotten the clue that I already knew how the device was supposed to work. Overall, an inferior version of the original products and not much cheaper to buy. Attempting to return now for a refund, however the order information shows the return window closed 11 April 2017. Today is March 15,2017, so I'm not sure why the window is already closed. Contacted Amazon and hopefully they can figure this out.

Standard junk plastic that barely works, and no instructions. No instructions. No instructions. Be sure you learn to use this elsewhere because they simply mail you the exact item shown. And it was all bent and torn up, making it difficult to view the actual results. But, it's very cheaply priced so I guess I got what I paid for.

While I didn't like the reading it gave me...that is my own fault not the measurements tool. This works great. It is super easy to use by yourself or with a friend. The tape measure does work. When you have it out, to get it back in, you have to press the button and then pull the tape before it retracts.

It's not of the highest quality but for the price it works just fine. I have access to professional grade calipers at work and the product works just as intended. The scale that comes with it is card stock but again for the price it's just fine. Actual buyer here not a free sample in exchange for a product.
