I bought this for my elderly mother's recliner as she has severe dementia and makes quite a mess when eating, I took this out of the bag and I knew it wasn't going to fit. I tugged it until there was no more tug left in it,but then I thought even if I was able to close the thing what's to stop it coming loose or ripping the material and hitting mum. I even measured the chair so it would fit OK.

I bought two of these for a leather rise-recliner with a fairly shallow winged back. I had been using a large cotton throw and was tired of it sliding off the chair and constantly needing to be repositioned.Well, these are worse. The elastics don't hold anything in place at all - they slide down the back and bring the back flap with them. Despite their ample width, the arm flaps also gravitate backwards.The fabric is hardwearing and I do machine-wash despite the instructions, and so far so good in that respect. I mean, what is the point of a furniture cover that can't be machine-washed?So all in all, back to square one. If you have a flat backed flat seated flat armed chair, these might work. If you have any shaping in your furniture at all, don't bother with this design.

Brought this cover for my riser recliner chair very easy to fit and durable great side pockets to store bits in that u want to hand the only downside is it’s hand wash only but it does save your chair from every day wear and tear especially if you have animals in the house although my cat thinks it’s a blanket for him to hide under but it’s saved him from digging his claws in and damaging the chair fabric

I returned the item due to seams being ripped

Although the covers were simple to fit the back does creep down when my husband sits on it and needs to hoist the back up again and again. Otherwise a good buy
