Before you order online you should try them on in the store. My son is ten and under 60 lbs. so that's why I order them for him. Size 18 sounds to big for you

Q: It states the white jeans are 100% cotton. Is that true or is there some stretch (lycra, elastane)in them?

Neither size that was sent was the right size. I sent both pairs back, but the jeans did not stretch.
