Transformers: Rescue Bots: Meet Heatwave the Fire-Bot (Passport to Reading) Paperback – June 4, 2013

My three year old, Willy loves the Rescue bot series. These books are a perfect fit for him. He loves them and it gives another way to give him his rescue bot fix with turning on a show! He asks for these every night since they arrived. I would highly recommend them for young children. As he ages he will be able to read these on his own as well because the books are written for early readers. I believe these will be a favorite for a few years in our house.

Daughter love it

My preschool son loves Heatwave and is starting to want to learn to read, so this is just perfect for him. Simple words that he can start to recognize (since learning to read is repetition learning) and he feels very proud of himself when he starts picking out the words. A good length for bedtime stories too, long enough that he feels he's getting a story but short enough I can read the whole book without his mind wandering off.There's a bit of a hidden moral in it (as there is in the cartoon too) which I like (my son has trouble dealing with being mad, so I am hoping that he can take cues from how Heatwave handles sulking because he's mad and steps up to do his job).No, it doesn't exactly follow the cartoon episode, but I've found most of these 'based on' books are truly based on, they have to condense them for the reader's reading level and sometimes that requires changing some parts (otherwise the book would be too long or details left out making the scene make no sense). The most important part is learning to read.

Simple first books that my boys love because they love Rescue Bots. They really enjoy reading the books with us, the stories are short and I strongly suspect that as they begin to get the hang of reading, these books will be some of the first books that they read on their own.

Nice book for Transformer Rescue Bots fans. Gave this one to both of my 3 year old Grandsons with their Easter Baskets. They love it! Sit and hold their Rescue Bots while listening to the story! In the future I will be buying more of these cute books.

Great for a young child. My 4 year old loves the Rescue Bots and this is one of his favorite books now. The story has enough detail to make it interesting but a quick read and nice for early readers.
