Nice smaller kettle is lightweight, heats quickly, handles easily, and has a loud whistle that even the hearing impaired can hear. And it's cute in black with the wooden look handle.

I love the color I got and the quality is great! Definitely worth the money. I use it all the time. 🩵

Second update* The seller sent me another pot, which has been much better. I have a gas stove and I have to be careful which burner I use. Also, if you are trying to heat only a small amount of water, you have to be careful how high the heat is, or it will scald. So far, the is second one has been MUCH better! Update* I reached out to the seller and they are going to send me a replacement, I will update my review based on that. I was at first very excited for this kettle. When it arrived, I gave it a wash and immediately went to boil some water. Within seconds the paint started to turn brown and the smell of burning paint filled the kitchen. I didn’t even have the burner on very high! Maybe it’s user error, but we’ve only been able to use this on our smallest burner. Also, we keep it on our stove top. Ever once in a while bits of food will fall on and will not wash off. It is fairly well constructed and shipping was fast, but I am disappointed in the long term use of this kettle.

Bought for my daughter. Wooded handle matches a lot of the wood in her kitchen. She really likes it.

Well I should’ve caught this earlier as I cannot return now, but had noticed there were water spots on my black cooktop! Well the rim on bottom has a leak and it has been leaking for awhile evidently, I’d fill water in it, use it one time and next day I’d have to put some more water in it! I’ve only really used this teapot about 5 times since Oct purchase so I just thought it was evaporating! Nope the rim on bottom has a rusty spot with built up dried water, lime I guess? Wouldn’t waste your money on this!

Got this to replace the old one we had. Perfect size, loud whistle, sturdy material, great deal!

Updated on 12/11/2023 No matter how often have I dried the inside of the kettle after each use, the inside bottom plate has leached minerals of some sort while heating, leaving behind the little round dark and/or light spots some people have noted here in their reviews. I did not find any issues with rust. I have also reduced the heating temperature to 275 on my Induction plate. Previous review: I certainly appreciated reading all the good and not so good reviews, so I knew what to look out for and avoid: When using the kettle, I did not go over 375 degrees on my Induction plate, so as to avoid any potential overheating problems with the metal or handle. (I imagine this would interpret to using a medium to medium low flame on a Gas burner). I also emptied and dried out the inside of the kettle to prevent any potential rust from forming, adding some paper towels to facilitate evaporation thru the opening at the top, and thru the spout to help eliminate any leftover moisture I might have missed, before returning it to its storing place. I especially liked the zero drip pouring spout, and the way that the spout cover can be smoothly snapped open, without sending any residual hot water flying over onto my hand, as other more expensive kettles have done in the past. I like the blue colored kettle I picked because it goes well with so many of my kitchen things and such. And it definitely makes a high strong whistle.
