K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: High Performance, Increase Horsepower: Compatible with 2010-2015 Chevy Camaro SS, 6.2L V8, 71-4519

Très propre Facile à installer et super bruit

On my last 5th Gen Camaro I installed a HallTech YellowJacket and really liked the intake but I lost the car to a drunk driver slamming into me and totaling my car. On this second install I really didn't want to spend $400 on an intake as I feel that is completely overpriced so I decided on the K&N Blackhawk even though I was concerned about the tubing being metal instead of a non-heat conducting material. I really liked the fact that the filer was black (as my car is) and that it's a dry filter that I don't have to clean and re-oil all the time (like my Halltech) and that I didn't have to worry about oil possibly getting in the MAF Sensor. Even though the Halltech was a nice quality CAI and I would still recommend it to anyone I couldn't believe the quality of everything that was included in this kit. The mandrel bent tubing w/ powder coating was excellent and the heat shield was sturdy and well formed metal with no sharp edges. The K&N dry black filter was very nice and the rubber molding for the heat shield and the tubing sleeves were heavy duty and of excellent quality and even the hose clamps were black so it came together nicely. Instructions were very easy to follow and understand (except for how to remove the MAF harness connector). My engine sounds way better and you can hear the air jetting into the intake especially at high RPMs and my Camaro sounds meaner than ever! At $260 bucks and $140 cheaper than most of the other CAI brands this is a great product.

Car runs smoother than before. Intake was easy to install. Got some extra horse power out of it. Good investment

Rien à signaler concernant le produit. Je savais ce que j’achetais. Le conditionnement dans son emballage d’origine était limite. Carton légèrement ouvert à l’arrivée mais rien de perdu fort heureusement. J W
