Cute for Kids
I got this for my step daughters birthday.. she wanted an Apple Watch, to count her steps, like I do, but being 8, that was not happening.. she LOVES the watch and loves that she can change the faces, the work out loses and that she can count her steps. The app was really easy to download and I set it up on my phone quick. The only thing I didn’t like was that it only time I could check on her watch was when she was connected to the same Wi-Fi, as me. Other than that, it disconnected

Better than the older model --- some improvements needed --- but great customer service!
My kids (8 and 13) have had 3 of the older BiggerFive fitness tracker watches (the slim band) over the past 2 years. With those, you had to take the bands off to charge the watch, and eventually the tabs broke off. We upgraded my son to this model after reading the reviews on many different fitness trackers.First the pros of this one:- this watch can be charged without removing the band- more features than the older version (heart rate, multiple alarms)- setting that turns on the watch with a wrist movement rather than press the screen- relatively comfortable (after a week or so where the band leaves a mark)- multiple screen options through the app- no issues with the app or connecting the watch to my phone- impeccable customer serviceCons:- most screen options are a bit juvenile for older kids - a few more screens for older kids would be nice! Maybe something a little more "neutral" than pinks and purples!- battery only lasts 4-5 days (which is okay as long as you remember to charge it more often)- there is a "Questions and Suggestions" section of the app ... but I don't think it works since I never received a response to a comment I sent about the battery life.- the straps, while more comfortable than the slim-style watch, stretches out after a few months to the point where the watch face pops right out the front.None of the cons were deal breakers except the last one - my son refused to wear the watch after the face fell out several times (he was afraid of losing it). However, I contacted the company, and they responded very quickly (even though it was the weekend). A new band arrived impressively fast, and the company followed up a few days later to make sure everything was good. So far, everything is working fine.I hope that the material on the band is eventually upgraded to something that doesn't stretch out over time.Overall, I'm happy with the watch (and my son likes it) and I'm *really* happy with the customer service.

Fantastic Customer Service - Fantastic Product
We bought this for our daughter as a Christmas present. It was wonderful for a month until tracker wouldn’t hold a charge.A quick email explaining the issue, and within 48 hours we had a new activity tracker at our front door!!! This company really stands behind their products and has the most amazing customer service. If you are in doubt of an activity tracker for you child, I highly recommend purchasing this one - you will not be sorry. Their customer service is fantastic. The tracker is fantastic too. My daughter is having a great time trying to reach her daily step goals and monitor her sleeping habits. She loves being able to see everything on the app at the end of the day to compare where she was the day before.

Lo-res screen with constant time lost
Hey, got this for the 8yr old as the first watch. The kid enjoys counting steps, bike rides ant etc.The screen itself is lo res and not really sensitive to adult fingers. I barely can navigate it.The main issue is that it requires the phone and constant connection as if it lists connection with the phone, then the time resets to 0:00 Jan 01 and all the steps and details are lost. I don't understand why it works so weird. After reconnecting through the app the screen face also gets reset. ;(Won't recommend and won't buy again for another kid.Update after 2 months of usage: they stopped counting steps. So disappointing for a kid as this was a gift from Santa ;((

Grandson loves it!
This was a Christmas present for our seven year old grandson and he loves it! The best to him is to be able to track his steps! He runs through the house and up and down the stairs to register more steps. Great for his fitness but also good practice with numbers and math concepts. We are so glad we got it for him!

NOT worth it!
Thought this would be a great starter fitness tracker/watch before buying my 6yo a fitbit...it was cheaper and we could assess how he would use it and take care of it. Also, we liked that it was cheaper for this purpose. My son loved the watch/tracker at first until about the 3rd day- then it has gone downhill. The battery power is super poor- doesn't make it an entire day before needing to be charged. On top of that, a few times when I have synced his watch with my phone, it reset everything causing him to lose the step count earned up to that point for the day. Also, we will notice that the watch is 2-3 hours off with the time, unless I sync it again... thus losing the data. The inconsistency of effectiveness is frustrating, especially when the kid is 6 and was super excited about this. At this point, we've had the tracker/watch for about 3 weeks and it has been nothing but frustration for him and me. Complete waste of money....I'm now spending another $60 to buy a real Fitbit...which I should have just done to begin with.
