Fascinating read
For the first time I got an insight into the Aghori Sadhus. The narration thru a protagonist made it a very interesting read.

Elevating your spiritual self.
This is amazing book. I never felt it was fiction... everything I read in this book made me feel that it has always been there which I missed to acknowledge or understand. I would really like to thank the author and the Aghoris who made this possible. I would really like to know if there exists a formal school for Aghoris where one can learn about merging with Shiva. I read this book in 2 days. I feel blessed to have found this book.

Fails to deliver facts and fiction, in fact confuses both of them.
I went in without any expectation but honestly was not expecting this much fiction and childlike writing. I don't know it is only in kindle edition or in paperback also but there are tremendous spelling and grammatical mistakes.I saw the podcast and thought the writer knew something about Aghoris but the book is purely fiction and that too is not delivered properly.Way too much predictable. There might be facts in the books but the childish and amateurish writing makes it hard to believe them.Though pace of the book is really fast and do not waste time to take you in the world of aghoris but at the same time doesn't allow you to cherish it as it's too fast.

What am amazing journey, written in a simple to absorb language!
For more than a decade, I have cherished reading Carlos Castaneda and his experiences with the central Mexico Shamans. This book is written ins a similar fashion to break the stereotype associated with the Aghoris of India. I can see so many similarities in this books and Carlos Castaneda’s journey. Hope folks on the spiritual journey will be introduced to this book and accept Aghoris for who they are, fearless spiritual beings.

Strikingly pleasant and too difficult/vivid to describe in words!!!
This book was gifted by my friend, Aghori, the Untold Story is not a book but an emotion for me It is a book that gives a rare insight into the Aghora sect. Ghora means darkness and Aghora means light or the absence of darkness. Though the Aghori Sadhus perform most of the rituals at night still Aghoris is the incarnation of light. Their journey is from darkness to divine enlightenment. This book reveals the difficult path of Aghori Sadhus, their tradition-lineage, and their connection with Shiv, the Mahaaghor! It is indeed a book for all Shiva-lovers. Though the book is set in an autobiographical tone, it surely reflects the true experience of a spiritual seeker, Subbu – the main protagonist. Subbu’s curiosity sets him on an adventure trip where he tastes different magical fruits and potions, visits strange places, meet new Aghori Sadhus, and learns about their spiritual life. Along with Subbu’s indulgence in the five senses at work while on the journey, similarly, the readers will also be in the position to see what Subbu sees, hear what Subbu hears, feel what he feels, taste what he tastes, and smell what he smells. The book is strikingly pleasant and just becomes too vivid to describe in words. A picturesque book!! One definitely, needs to read it to experience the same! For me, it is not fiction, but reality delivered in a package of fiction though with a pinch of surrealism. Subbu’s character evolves throughout the book and by the time, the book ends, he appears more collected, and rich absorbing the new and enhanced knowledge received from various sources on the journey. It is hard to point out whether Subbus’ journey is more inner or outer. Or shall I say his outer journey leads him to an inner expedition? Most importantly, this book commands a respect for all the real Aghori Babas who are also somewhere working for the well-being of the world and have kept this tradition alive for thousands of years. This book depicts the nature of Aghori Sadhus and does fair justice to portraying their mystical path and strenuous spiritual life. Mostly, people carry inhibitions toward Aghoras, and people in general as well as the media has gone as far as portraying them as cannibals, druggies, and involved in origins. If one reads the book then they will get to know that eating flesh or taking intoxicants is only a small part of the ritual. It shows that Aghoris have gone beyond the avidya or ignorance and retained their inner purity. This book debunks the myths associated with the Aghora sect, the left hand of God. It gives immense knowledge about advanced meditation techniques, potent powers, rituals, caves and temples, forests and mountains, and other geographical locations which are unknown to the outside world, where they carry out their spiritual practices to unify with Shiv. Shiv is their one and only destination! The book reflects how Aghori Sadhus or Babajis have existed since time immemorial with vast esoteric practices, spiritual wisdom, love, and in harmony with Nature to be One with Shiv. This is also a great book for Nature lovers who can derive many tips on how to survive in a forest and wilderness.Apart from that, I loved the characterizations of all Aghori Sadhus/Babajis starting from Naryogi Babaji, Siddhnath Babaji, Patalnath Babaji, Rishi Bruhangnathji, Dhoomketu Babaji, and the rest. Each Babaji is described in detail possessing a unique character, personality, and siddhi(s). My favourite is Tadamba Babaji and Maha Shivaghori Adhbhutanand Babaji who has played a significant role in the book by explaining all the different spiritual rituals, consistently responding to Subbu’s questions, and guiding him at all steps with patience and love. The way they live in harmony with each other and mutually respect each other can teach our outside world the same. People think that Sadhus are uncivilized, barbaric, and live a nomadic life but in the true sense by reading this book one will find how strictly they follow a variety of protocols, renounce many things and live a disciplined life which we can hardly dream of! Besides, Rahasya’s character though appears as a cameo but does a good justice in enveloping the initial journey into the suspense and sets the mood of the book. The book ends abruptly to make the reader feel a sense of longing to learn more about Subbu’s fate. Surely, it is very gripping! It is like a suspense thriller as all different chapters carry the suspense element. One can finish the book in one go or can even take their sweet time enjoying the journey bit by bit. I felt a pang in my heart when I reached the last chapter. I am sure that there is yet more to come! Will be waiting on the second part! Moreover, the language is simple and easy to understand. I liked the dialogues delivered in the Hindi language too as it lends the book a native touch. The author has left no stone unturned while thinking about the non-Hindi audience. He ensured that the Hindi dialogues are translated into English for the non-Hindi audience. The book indeed is a saga of divine love, devotion, cosmic realms, different dimensions, and spiritual awakening! A rare classic which will live forever in the memories of people and engraved on the hearts of coming generations!! It will keep reminding people that there is a spiritual world beyond the physical reality and mundane existence and it is possible to be a part of it. After a long time, I have come across such a refreshing, positive, and inspiring book. Mayur Kalbag has very carefully chosen the theme of Aghoris and did proper justice to such a heavy subject. It seems like a herculean task to put all different strands together and weave them into a fine fabric. All in all, it’s a profound work. I would strongly recommend reading this book !!

Great Book with Thrilling Story telling
Although the book takes you on with thrilling ride with protagonist perspective as if you are watching a suspense thriller movie, my only concern is not with book and story telling but for the spelling mistakes I found like in chapter 2 it says am instead of arm.
