After looking at wooden gliders that were all priced above $2000, more bulky, and require alot more maintenance, we came upon this glider on Amazon. It looked really nice and durable. It took several hours to put together, and all of the screws, nuts, washers, bolts, etc had to be reorganized into separate baggies because of the terrible packaging it came in. This alone added another 1/2 hr to do. I cant imagine putting it together with the tools provided. We had power tools which made the job alot easier! We love the looks of it and how nicely it fits on our deck. The screening is a big plus!! It can easily be stored away for the winter also! Very comfortable and looking forward to enjoying it every summer!! Great qualityand well worth the price if you have the patience to put it together!

What can I say about this glider, or as my sister calls it, the stagecoach! It is beautiful, comfortable, a scene stealer and huge. I had a couple of hiccups, all shipping related and when I contacted the vendor, they were empathetic, prompt, went above and beyond and expedited the parts I needed without me asking, to make me whole. They’ve made an already loyal customer more loyal.

The media could not be loaded.  Edit: Purple Leaf has reached out and after several rounds of back and forth and finally sent a replacement part to fix the squealing. So far it has corrected the problem, so I’ve changed my review to 4 stars instead of 5 because of the hassle of arranging a replacement and the difficulty with the initial setup, and the price is still a but steep for the quality. All in all, though I would still buy it again regardless of those factors because the swing itself is lovely. I think we just happened to get a bad part, which the company made good in the end.Original Review: We LOVED this glider the first day. But after about a week of use it started making an awful screeching sound every time we glide. The ground is level (we even used a leveler during installation). The issue is where the wheel connects to the axle is not sturdy enough and they slowly sneak in towards each other, causing it to go off track. I expect some wear and tear but definitely not within a week of use.Setup was a nightmare—missing boxes (which on the positive side the seller was good about resending the missing box). When they arrived the hardware was all loose inside the box making it nearly impossible to differentiate between the 20 different sizes of screws. took two full days for two people to set up. It’s a fantastic idea and has so much potential to be the best spot in our yard, but the design needs to be stronger and more durable given the price.

Feels very sturdy and is very comfortable. Needs to be handy to assemble but doable and once you're done, you'll find it very relaxing.

From the start this was quite the project to put together. Not the easiest to assemble. It was missing some hardware which the company sent immediately. By the time it was assembled, we didn't get to enjoy it much before a storm came and inflicted damage. Not surprising, storm damage was not covered by the warranty. Furthermore, although the parts we needed to repair the swing were free, to have a replacement box sent was $180. I was only able to get a 5% discount off when I paid it on their website. I paid it otherwise we would be stuck with a swing we couldn't use. When the replacement box came in, not even half the items we needed were in there. When I emailed the company about the missing pieces, they said they were out of stock. And get this they were discontinuing manufacturing the product. The handyman I had to pay worked with what he had & was able to fabricate for the missing parts to something more durable. After complaining, they first offered me $80. I refused & said I want as much of the shipping cost as possible. I was finally able to after a lot of back & forth. Customer service was good, responsive & courteous. But this product is poor quality, not worth the money or aggravation.

it is a very cool way to hang out in the yard,after putting it together(was not that hard to do)just take your time.i will say the price is a little high.i hope it will last long time,then price ok.i do want to rain proof the top(not for big storms,just for a lite rain.thinking of using flex seal clear(spay or bush).will e-mail seller to see what they think.they are or seem to be good and helpful.so if you can get past the price,i say buy it.so far so good.
