OMG - TO DIE FOR!

Having grown up in an Italian family and living in Boston with fantastic Italian restaurants, based on the price of this item I was expecting it to rival some of the best. Not even close... In fact, I waited to open the bottle for a special occasion and wish I did not as it ruined the occasion. I don't mind spending money for amazing taste but Ragu in the grocery store would be better and cheaper than this sauce! The taste was awful and had these odd hard black spice things throughout that I had to just spit out. Never again, not even for 5¢ a jar would I buy this again. If I could, I would send it back for a full refund. Any sauce your grocery store carries will out do this at a much cheaper price! Fancy bottle and packaging, big price tag and awful taste. Sorry to leave such a negative review but my disappointment could not be more sincere and honest. I realize we all have different taste buds and pallets but this had to be one of the worst jarred sauces I ever tasted in my life and to think I paid $13.75 for a little 10.23oz jar only made it worse.
