We still bring this Gamma Hopper every time we hit the court! It's so light and convenient, making picking up the 18-ball capacity a breeze. No more wasting time on the court - it's quick and easy!The little hook is such a neat addition - we can hang it on the fence and keep it within arm's reach. And the adjustable shoulder strap? It adds a touch of comfort when carrying it around.Sure, the rubber band used as a stopper has loosened a bit over time, but it still holds the balls securely in place when we're on the go. At our local off-leash, dog owners bring tennis balls and there are dozens of them strewn around at any one time. I earlier purchased a Wilson 75 Tennis Ball Pick Up Hopper for use in retrieving the balls. It worked fine but was a little bulky for my use, while the Gamma Ballhopper is more manageable. I've used it almost daily for nearly six months to pick up dirty gravel encrusted balls, which I then brush off and toss for our dog. Certainly this isn't what it was designed for and I don't do any maintenance, but despite the abuse it's still functioning well. The end cap shows scratches and will wear out eventually, but my experience speaks to its durability, which appears to be impressive.

We still aren't sure if we are using this correctly, but it does pick up tennis balls. My concern is the rubber band that holds the balls inside the tube will degrade and break. I am not sure what we will do once the thick rubber band breaks.

This great tool definitely stopped all the bending down/over. SAVES THE OLD BACK AND KNEES.

I bought this balltube to round out my practice equipment with my ball machine, and I own two of these now for one year now.Pro:- Light & portable -- Carrying a ball hopper with the ball machine is slightly hectic, so they are perfect to carry from car to court.- Easy to use -- Both kids and adult can pick up 18 balls without bending down everytime. The tubes do bend slightly over time, but no impact to usability.Con:- Breaking in -- it took a few sessions to break in the rubber flanges; you had to push hard onto each ball for the first 10 times or so, but that went away quickly.I actually bought both color options (red and clear), thinking I would pick one and return the other. I ended up keeping both! I usually have a hitting partner, and they all loved using them.I did buy them for $30 each (I see $60 as I write this review); shop around the internet to find good deals.

It’s super light and easy to carry but I don’t know if this is the way it was made or if Amazon messed it up but the entrance for the balls it’s an oval shape so I have to almost force them in and then once full I can’t get the balls out I have to do it one by one helping with my hand.My coach has a tube as well different brand and it works perfectly I wish I could return it still

I use this whenever I bring out a basket of ball to practice hitting serves. It's so much easier to use this to pickup a bunch of balls, instead of the much heavy metal ball hopper I have that holds the balls. I also like the feature where you can attach the rubber band to one side and hang it on the fence to pull out balls one at a time. The strap makes it easy to carry over your shoulder to/from your car.
