I really love this unique and fun novelty table top bowling set. The moment I saw it I had to have it. It is an adorable miniture bowling game that is pretty easy to set up as long as you don't have huge hands. It might be a bit tricky setting the pins up for someone in that case. The "lane" has tiny dots that mark where the pins are placed. The bowling ball sits on a metal downward ramp that can be adjusted left or right to guide the ball. This is a great little toy when you are bored, want to relieve stress, or just to have fun. I enjoy it very much. It is cool looking on my desk. I am sure it will get noticed. The only thing I can say that's slightly negative is that the pins are a bit sensitive. Be careful not to bump the table/desk too much or they will fall over. A steady flat surface is required.

This little bowling alley is so much fun! It's really quick and easy to set up, just put the metal ramp into the hole on the alley, and then set up the pins on the dots. The ramp rotates so you can turn it to aim the ball where you want it. Resetting the pins takes me about 30 seconds to sit them back on the dots. I am so happy that I learned how to keep score in bowling so my boyfriend and I can play and keep score without having to spend a lot of money at the real bowling alley. I think it's just as fun to play this mini version at home as it is go go to the real thing. I also love to play myself when I am studying my college work because it's a great stress reliever and helps pass the time when my computer is being really slow and loading.

Overall, fun item to keep at my desk at work. My co-workers enjoy playing a quote game. I will agree that the pins can be a little frustrating to setup at times. Some of the pins are nice and flat on the bottom, and others have the seam on the bottom which makes them sit at an angle and easier to fall over when you're trying to set them up. But overall, it was worth the price.

For the most part I am pretty happy with this bowling set but there are a couple details that would make this a lot better.- The wood. The wood is nice and has a good finish but it does not look as nice and dark as the picture on the product page. The product page image looks like it is using some sort of hardwood, but the actual wood appears to be pine.- The pins are not quite even on the bottom because of how it is manufactured (a mold apparently). Because of this the pins fall over quite easily.Overall, this is a fun set and nice to have on the desk. I find that it is easier to knock all the pins down than it is to knock down just a few. I wish it was a bit more of a challenge.

Advertised with 'magnetic pin resetting'. Not on the one I received. Setting the pins is a hassle. Bottoms of pins have a ridge making it even more difficult (i will file bottoms flat). Looks cute when set up, playing it is a hassle. Maybe it is 'zen-bowling'...dealing with stress. Aaaooommm-nani-nani.Ok, used a jeweler's file on bottom of pins. Easier to set up, not so many strikes. Pins are chrome coated copper, not magnetic.

Can't argue with the quality of materials, but would like it more if they could add little magnets where the pins set, to make set up a little easier. Works as described, just becomes tedious setting the pins up (especially if you knock them over as you try to set them up).

Cool little bowling game - I bought two!

The pins are so cheaply made that the crease in material along the bottom and causes them to not even be able to stand up. 4 of the 10 are like that. I'm going to try filing them down with a nail file. Wish me luck!
