The media could not be loaded. Just what I needed to hold open the cabinet doors so I didn't hit my head. They open smoothly and strongly and hold the door overhead without any problem. I was skeptical about them being so reasonably priced, and I am no craftsman, but look at the video and see for yourself. These doors are 16x30 inches and are not light.

I just installed the strut on a small cabinet. It appears to be stiff at first but works well so far. I will keep you posted as I use the strut more throughout the coming months.

I installed these struts on a cabinet door that swings up instead of sideways. The struts easily lifts the door and holds it open, then closes smoothly when shutting the door. I am very satisfied with these struts.

The directions aren’t for those unfamiliar with the metric system. However. The pics are helpful lol. I used these for camper cabinet doors that had no way of staying open. Just relax. Take a deep breath. You can do this. It took a lil trial and error for mounting locations. The hardware was perfect. There is a slight adjustment you can use with screwing and unscrewing the shocks but not much. After some head scratching and mistakes on my end though these things do a great job. Hang in there. Watch a YouTube video on it or 2… I just ordered my second batch. Life changing lol

It was definitely harder to install than expected. I followed the mounting instructions on the package but it was not helpful and I ended up bending one of the mounting joints. Luckily I only needed 3. Great value, but may not be as durable. Only time will tell. Currently it is outdoor assisting the lift of a 45lb door. Overall I would recommend this product due to value, just be ready for some trial and error with install.

When the ones that came with our IKEA cabinets failed,I ordered these. Good quality. I waited a year to review to see how the wore, still good.

I purchased two packs of the 7" struts and installed 6 in just over an hour. As another review mentioned, my cabinets don't have a solid side wall so I only used two screws in the cabinet frame to secure the lower ball.Since I had to modify the installation, the instruction dimensions were useless (and also incorrect even if I could have used them, ref. 80 or 105mm for lower ball, which should be more like 8.0 or 10.5) so I had to measure and come up with my own. The strut length is 174mm ball-center to ball-center. For the top bracket I used 45mm for cabinet measurement from the top, 30mm from the side (depends on door width vs. opening width). After attaching the strut to the top bracket, for a 90 degree (horizontal door) opening, it was roughly 125mm from the top of the opening to the center of the lower ball. The space between the facing edge of the cabinet opening and the edge of the lower bracket was 0mm since it had to be mounted to the cabinet frame.

The media could not be loaded. Instructions are really easy to follow, very sturdy and the quality of the materials seem to be very good. I'm very happy with it.

Probably just me not being able to read the description but they are way harder to compress than I could use with what I wanted, but that’s my fault probably not theirs. Other than that works great
