My best bean soup seasoning.
Everyone wants to know my secret for fantastic bean soup. The magic is in these seasoning packs. One pound of beans, 1/4 of a baked ham cut into chunks, two carrots diced and two celery stalks diced plus one large onion diced. A dash of hot sauce, black pepper, 3 bay leaves, 1/8 tsp ground cloves and 2 quarts of water. Boil 4 to 6 hours or in a pressure cooker for 1 hour.
