Game Changer!!
This product was advised to me for helping adhere KT tape onto skin so that it lasts longer. I was applying KT tape to my sons heel/calf every couple of days and it was getting expensive with how fast I was going through the tape. I got this and the first time I applied this to my sons skin the tape lasted a whole week before he peeled it off!TIP: Be sure that when you spray it you spray it to clean, dry skin and allow it to dry and become tacky to touch before applying KT tape.

Sticky -perfect for athletes
This is the perfect product to keep athletic tape in place. Very sticky so be careful how much and only put it where you need it. Kinda hard to wash off. Even in the summer heat it stayed in place. The can lasts a long time - still on out first can and have been using it for months.

works great
Did exactly what I needed. Sprayed this on and my KT tape stuck for over a week. I could have kept it longer but one side of the setup was done before I got the spray and it was falling off. I foresee ten days easy with this added to my tape job.

Mueller PreTape Spray - Great for OCR and Ninja Obstacles
Pros:- Gives the best improvement for grip strength on Bouldering, Cliffhanger, Rings, Cannonballs, Rope Climbs, etc.- 4oz size is convenient to carry in a pouch to apply before obstacles of an OCR.- Gives improvement to Wet, Dirty Obstacles gripping.- Aerosol solvent in adhesive dries fairly quickly.Cons:- Aerosol solvent in adhesive does take some time to dry (30 seconds minimum).- Adhesive can leave a residue on obstacles immediately after application and drying (too much adhesive applied).- Adhesive can cause fingers to stick together.- Perhaps too much adhesion when you need to release from the obstacle to switch handholds or rotate around a bar like monkey bars, tilt ladder, or Lechais just after application.I use the Mueller PreTape spray on my hands to improve grip for Ninja obstacles and Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) obstacles that can be wet and slippery. My hands are drier and smoothly callused so I don't get as much friction grip as I need. Chalk on my hands just makes them more slippery. Mueller PreTape spray gives me the frictional grip I need to get a significant improvement in performance and completion on obstacles. Especially farther into the course or race when I start to get more tired.I did a comparison to 6 different grip improvement products like Cramer Firm Grip, Mueller Stickum, iTAC2 sport grip, and others. Only the Mueller Stickum came close to the grip improvement of the Mueller PreTape spray. The Mueller Stickum spray is more expensive and slower drying than the PreTape spray so there was no reason to switch to that product. The Cramer Firm Grip spray was also slower to dry and less adhesive than the Mueller PreTape spray while being more expensive. A trainer at my Ninja Gym told me that he used Cramer Firm Grip for Pole Vaulting. It might actually perform better on obstacles where ultimate friction/adhesion is not desired (your hand needs to rotate around the bar and release without sticking). It didn't work as well as the PreTape Spray for ultimate finger tip grip on Bouldering/Climbing Wall Obstacles, Cannonballs, Nunchucks, or Ladder Climbs. All these sprays loose adhesion as they wear off on the obstacles so they require reapplication to keep maximum adhesive strength. The Mueller PreTape spray starts with more adhesion so maintains higher adhesion after several obstacle sets and requires fewer reapplications. The Mueller PreTape spray comes in an aerosol can with solvent carrier. It takes about 30 seconds after application to dry (depending on ambient temps, humidity, and how wet your hands are). Other spray grips actually take longer to dry than this, but I could desire a faster evaporating solvent.Mueller PreTape spray is also non-irritating to my skin. Unlike iTAC2 sport grip which is highly irritating. I have applied this PreTape spray to my arms, back, and legs prior to applying kinestesiology tape before OCR's (to keep the tape adhered in wet, muddy conditions) and the PreTape spray caused no irritation even after having it on for 6 hours. In conclusion, if you are looking for an economical grip improvement spray, the Mueller PreTape spray is the best I have found. The 10oz. size is the most economical but the 4oz spray can fits in a belt pouch to use during OCR's to apply before difficult obstacles.

Really useful product to keep tape on knee during athletics
Significantly increases length and quality of adhesion of kenesio tape; only downside is when you take the tape off it is pretty stuck and damages skin

Best of this type product I've used
This is a reorder: Best of this type product, compared to others, I've used. One aerosol did not hold the tape. Another was a liquid spray and took too ling to dry before I could apply kinesiology tape. I can basically sleep without the tape coming off after using this one. Doesn't really leave a residue either.

Waste of Money, Creates Sticky Mess
It did not make a difference in how long the tape lasted. I even tried wiping the skin down with rubbing alcohol first to ensure no oil was left. All this did was make a sticky mess out of my skin and cost me $10. This is not returnable because it's aerosol. No where on the page can I find anything that says no returns. I'm extremely disappointed because the reviews are really good.
