Wow!!! This saffron is wonderful!!I've been cooking with saffron for decades. Over the last year, I've gotten into mixing and drinking herbal teas for specific health benefits. I looked up saffron and realized it has MANY health benefits that are proven.I purchased 10g of this brand. I wanted an ounce but wanted to give it a try first. I compared this brand to some I had in my pantry. Hands down...Golden Saffron is the best.Comparison:The major difference is that you don't need to use as much in cooking as you do in lesser quality saffron. Basically - a little goes a long way.The other thing I noticed is that my other saffron had LOTS of yellow and orange strands. Additionally, the strands are short and almost dried out. Golden Saffron strands are ALL vibrant, deep red, and they seem to almost be silky.I started adding 50 strands of saffron to my herbal tea, twice a day. I've read that it can be good for neurological issues as well as mental illness (depression, anxiety, and even schizophrenia). Here's the best part: Golden Saffron makes my crappy-tasting tea actually taste good!! I even eat the strands (I add them directly to the water rather than include them in the metal steeper).I highly recommend Golden Saffron.

After reading enough reviews of a lot of products, we decided to purchase this saffron, as the one we had liked that was sourced from Afghanistan was not available any longer. Many offerings out there elicited comments that made us unsure that we would be pleased with a new one.This saffron imparts all of the color, flavor, and aroma. The strands look correct and we are very pleased with the experience of using it to cook and with the way our dishes turn out. Good product!

For the price, these are excellent saffron threads. The color is deep and the aroma is also very strong. The threads are long and most of the threads are intact denoting their level of quality. Having just returned from the spice market in Istanbul Turkey and with the most expensive saffron in my most recent memory, comparatively these are very very good for the price. I would definitely buy these again.
