Kitchen Knife Set Block Knives - Stone boomer 6 Piece Black Handle Stainless Steel - 8" Chef, 8" Bread, 8" Carving, 5" Utility, 3.5" Paring, Stand, Razor Sharp!!!

These knives maintain their sharpness nicely, but can become slippery to hold since there are no finger places. I'm very dissatisfied with the durability of the finish on the handles ad well. After hot soapy washes over the course of the year I've had them, some of the handles have started peeling. So they have a thin, cheap plastic coating that will come off and you won't want to display these on your kitchen counter for long.

These are sharp right now. Not sure how they will last. I don't think they are stainless steel. I used one to peel sweet potatoes and the blade turned orange. With some major scrubbing I was able to get it off. Best thing about it is that it makes an attractive display on the kitchen counter. Very cute but not top quality.

Our present knife set (Tools of the Trade) is pretty disappointing. Some knives are sharp and stay that way, others just sit there. The reviews for this set looked good so I ordered one. I took out 5 useless knives from the first set and replaced them with these. These puppies cut! I took a leftover chicken breast and made paper thin slices!Would have been a great deal at list price, but even better at this mega-closeout.

Not good quality. What do you expect for the price tho!! I have sent gone with another brand and trashed these. They go dull very quick and become hard to use.

These knives a re good quality knives the handle is painted steel but is OK.The blade edges are sharp but they do require some work since the edge on the knives (except the chopping knife) is not ideal for the intended purpose.Still a decent price for the knives

I cant say this load enough! there CRAP! the paint fell off the first time i washed n there is no way to even get an edge on these as good as a dull butter knife .! not kidding i can sharpen a butter knife n i cant these. ( had to first use as they would not even cut into a tomato.!!

More than I expected and I used it for the first time to carve a roast. The knives were super sharp and I love the rak that holds them. I would buy again.Change of mind. Sadly after 3 uses of this product, the lettering on each knife is washing off and now they are rusting.

When it arrived, I thought, Oh this is so perfect! Really cute design and exactly what I needed since I did not need a giant set of knives. The downside is that they are not very sharp.... I had to use the bread knife to cut tomatoes so I was very disappointed in that. Then struction say to hand wash them so I did for a while but the very 1st time that they accidentally got placed in the dishwasher guess what happened? They rusted! I had to scrub the rust off of them. Very disappointed. If I hadn't exceeded the window to return them I would have!
