Dream Dust by Moon Juice - Tranquil Rest - Natural Adaptogenic Powder Supplement - Ashwagandha, Chamomile, Jujube, Polygala & Schisandra - Vegan, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free (1.5oz)

Amazing product -- amazing. I can't believe I'm writing a testimonial like this because I rarely gush over anything, but this product really works and I am so, so grateful. I have periodic problems falling asleep and staying asleep the whole night. I have a prescription for sleeping pills, which I do not like to take for a few reasons, mainly because I have a sleepy/heavy feeling in my brow the morning after. I have a friend in LA who swears by all of the Moon Juice products, which are very trendy there, but I was very skeptical -- if you read up on Moon Juice, it's definitely very groovy ("plant-based alchemy"? Like, what does that even mean?). At that time, the product was called Good Night Dust, but they have apparently changed the branding to Dream Dust. Anyway... the first night, I took the recommended dose of 1 tsp. and mixed it with almond milk -- it was delicious but did nothing for me, and I felt duped. I mentioned this to my friend and she said -- oh, no, you have to do a "double dose" (she's about half the size I am so I figured if she could do it, so could I -- plus it is also OK'ed on the packaging that you can double up).The next thing that happened was nearly miraculous. I started to feel drowsy within 20 minutes and closed my eyes; I slept the entire night through and woke up the next morning *before my alarm went off* completely and totally refreshed, awake, and energetic. I get the same effect every time I use the product. In fact, once I mixed it into steamed almond milk (regular milk causes my stomach to be upset, which I why I keep saying almond milk -- you go ahead and mix it into whatever you want) at the airport before a red eye flight, and I was asleep before the wheels left the ground and woke up when the plane touched down. There's not enough good that I can say about this product. I am so happy someone told me about it and especially happy that I didn't give up on it.I also have a product by the same company called "Brain Dust," and I can aver that I feel sharper and more focused after taking it. What I really like about these products is that they feel very natural, meaning they don't make you feel like you are "on something" but rather just naturally enhanced. (Of course, what I don't like about the product is the price point -- expensive for sure, especially if you have to take the double dose to get the effect.) I am not a paid reviewer and have had no contact with this company, nor the seller, and like I said, I very rarely rave about anything, but this product is impressive and I felt moved to share my experience with you.

I took a teaspoon before bed, on an empty stomach, which caused mild relaxation around 20 minutes later, but not sleepiness. Waited awhile then had a second teaspoon. More of the same, mild relaxation, and not sleepiness, which grew into insomnia. This stuff actually prevented me from being able to sleep. Very disappointed and it was very expensive, $38 for a little jar with 14 teaspoons. Lying awake hours later writing this… Everyone has a different biochemistry, so this may work for some people, but it definitely didn’t work for me. Even with melatonin, it’s still keeping me awake….

I'm amazed that this works (calms and slows you down like no other). But. It woke me up at 4 am randomly to pee.:I

This product uses adaptogenic herbs that are not usually used together, such as zizyphus and chamomile - which make it truly unique. This made me fall asleep instantly without having to use drugs such as zzzQuil, and I did not wake up feeling groggy the way I do after taking zzzQuil. I felt refreshed and well rested!

I’m a fan of this brands other products, but this one is not what I expected. It’s a very small jar which is a little deceiving on the ad for the price. The taste is not that great but not terrible. The texture, it does not dissolve fully so it’s very hard to make sure you get it all out of the bottom of the cup. And lastly, it does work to make you relaxed and want to sleep, but it’s not a stay asleep formula. But when I take it with melatonin I do drift off quite nicely. However, I get the strangest and most vivid dreams. So yes it does work, but it has some room for improvements too.

I was really looking forward to this after trying the packet sampler with all their dusts. This was the only one that i could really feel the difference with just two packets to try. The taste is pleasant to me even though I’m not a huge fan of stevia. After drinking them I could barely keep my eyes open and my whole body felt like it weighed 1000 pounds. I loved it! Finally something that pretty much knocked me out! I have insomnia pretty bad and it affects my life a lot so this felt like a god send! I double checked the glowing Amazon reviews just to be sure it wasn’t a fluke. As soon as I could I ordered the full jar.I am so disappointed. Not only is it crazy expensive, you only get 14 servings per jar. That’s almost $100 dollars a month if used regularly by one person and I bought it for me AND my boyfriend so double that. I had no idea the amount you get is so tiny and the serving size so big.After my third night using half the recommended serving and not seeing the results I decided to use a full teaspoon to really knock me out finally. No such luck. I didn’t get the same effects as when I took the packets.(And I tried the packets a week apart and got the same results both times)I am going to keep trying it because I think it helped mellow out my intense dreams but that is not worth the $38 if that’s all it’s going to do. I will update my review if anything changes. I get Luna sleep supplements for way cheaper that do a better job so I will stick with those in the meantime.I love using ashwagandha, reishi, and many other ingredients found in moon dusts but I can get them in bulk for way way cheaper that this. I think I will try that with the ingredients in Dream Dust. You can get the main ingredient here on amazon for way way cheaper so maybe I will try that next time (no stevia then yay!). But safe to say no matter how cute the packaging I don’t think I will be purchasing anything else from Moon Juice. Very dissapointed as I had high hopes for the brand especially since its so popular.Also when I removed the seal it left behind sticky glue along the rim which I had to carefully remove as peices were falling into the dust. Not worth $38 to me
