This is an excellent cable. 15 feet is the perfect length for just about any application. It might even be more than most need for tethering. The transfer rates are just as fast as any other cable, because that's the USB 2.0 standard. At the time of writing this review, this cable costs $7.99. Tether Tools (the most commonly used USB cables in the photo industry today) has the same exact 15' cable for $36.95 on their website. What a ripoff! This cable has ferrite core just like the Tether Tools one. The only "benefit" you get is that theirs is "high visibility orange." What a joke. If you want this black cable to have better visibility, wrap some brightly-colored strips of electrical tape around it every few feet. Problem solved for a quarter of the price.

This cable has simplified my life considerably. I has given me a way to connect my camera ( Canon 6D II) to my pc without having to move my camera every time I want to download photos or video. As an added bonus I no longer have to use Bluetooth through my phone to remotely control my camera. I can do it all from my desk. The cord is good quality construction and looks like it should last a while. I have had no problems establishing or maintaining a connection.

It allows me to shoot using the monitor (a very nice and inexpensive Vizio I got here on Amazon). So instead of a viewfinder, I can use a 22" display to check my photos before shooting. Sweet.This cable is about the same cost as a combo meal at a fast food joint.

This product does all it’s meant to do extremely well. Works amazing on my Canon EOS t3i Rebel. There’s just one thing that I would like to make clear for anyone who is buying this however. This cable DOES NOT charge your camera so if you are using this camera as a webcam as I am, and want to be able to use it for long periods of time without the camera dying, buy an external AC power supply. They’re pretty cheap and get the job done well.

This is a great cable. It's softer, doesn't have as much memory as some cables. I can stretch it out without it spiraling horribly like some heavier cables do. It provides a perfect and quick connection also.

Easy to use and reliable with my Cannon camera and computer.

I bought this to have a transfer cord with a little extra length should I need it. This cord passed my test with flying colors. The bonus memory card reader also works well. Worth the money.

Used for tethered shooting on my Canon 6D into Lightroom. The length of cabling allowed me to move easily without having to move the laptop station. The cable is a bit stiff, but I'm guessing the stiffness is needed to insulate the longer cable from data loss. No complaints, though, and would buy again.
