Bane Mask Replica Helmet Adult Dark Knight Rises Cosplay Costume Props

I love this mask ... It looks great as it is & fits well on my large head . Although it does kind of rub or touches the skin rough in certain places . I got soft foam tape & installed it around the inside spots & that made it fit even better . This mask does change your voice a bit also .. Not A Voice Changing Device ! But because of how it's built , it has a cool effect on your voice with the plastic built out from the mouth on the inside of the mask .... Great mask , I mean I wear a "7 3/4" fitted hat & it fits me great .. I loved Tom Hardy,s Bane & when I found this mask , I knew who I was gonna be for Halloween !!!!

I used the mask in conjunction with a few other props that I managed to have already (coat, boots, vest, etc.) and this was the Pièce de résistance of what was easily the best costume I've ever done. This mask was GREAT, particularly for the price. In my research I found better masks, but they were roughly $300 or were not painted. OR they were really cheap and/or looked wrong. This mask has all the detail it really needs. The material is a rubber/plastic so it has a very firm feel to it, which is great for the costume.I will say, however, that if you are too small this mask may not work out as well as it did for me. I am an average yet sizable guy, 5'10" 210 lbs. and I have a 7 1/4 size hat, and the mask fit really well. A few sizes in either direction should be fine. Beyond that it may be too tight or loose. Also the mask is really rigid and shipped a little mushed. I fixed it by balling up a towel and stuffed it inside to get its shape back. I shaved my head for the role (as you should if you're going to go all in), but the edges of mask were a little sharp. That's just how the excess rubber was cut off. I remedied this by using a knife and metal file to make sure the rim wasn't sharp and made it flat. This took maybe 15 minutes so don't let it put you off, its worth it. Then I used a lighter to soften the edges (BUT BE CAREFUL, the plastic can catch fire if you hold the flame against it. Just hold it near it for a brief time so that it softens a little. This will make the mask a lot more comfortable if you're going to be wearing it for a while, in total that was 20 minutes of work. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but it's a great mask if you're trying to be Bane.

It appears to be the same design as one I bought and had to return from another seller because it was too small and rigid; however, this one is softer and fits my head perfect. Would definitely recommend spending a few extra bucks for the one from this seller.

This mask smells so bad that you can smell it from 2 feet away.Even after sitting in the open air for 2 days, it still smells really bad and obviously makes it near impossible to wear.You know that cheap plastic smell when you go to a discount hardware store- the smell of made in china plastic and rubber- thats the smell.Also the casting is one solid cast- no paces behind the mouth hoses and the mouth opening is set waayyy too far forward.For a cheap halloween costume or a cosplay outfit where you are not worried about the look too much- this would be fine- but not anything beyond that.Also make sure you receive it at least 2-3 weeks before you need to wear it to allow the smell to hopefully go away.

Love this mask! It has served me well for cosplay. But a word of advice - DO NOT LEAVE IN HEAT! I kept it in my car, and the plastic "baked," getting harder and shrinking a tad, now it's a struggle to put on. (But I still wear it, far too often, in fact.)

I was after an authentic looking Bane mask for halloween '13, so I looked up hundreds of "Bane masks" online, and read through countless reviews . I'm very happy I ordered this one. The quality is great, it fit me good, it wasn't uncomfortable, and everybody that sees it agrees that it is as close to the movie as they've seen. I'm pretty picky about my stuff, so I took some paint markers to it just to try to tone down the silver tubes, and to not make it look so clean and bright. Outside of investing in an actual movie replica mask, this is probably as good as you'll likely find.

Cuts into your face, is too big for my head and not adjustable, also I can't drink or eat while wearing it (more of an inconvenience and me not thinking than anything with this last critique).

This mask looks great. I can't understand why other reviews say rhe mask is too big. The one I received is super tight fitting and barely covers my ears. My only real complaint are the sharp edges from the mold seams. The peice that runs down my forehead is very uncomfortable. I'll be sanding down the sharp edges with a dremmel tool.
