Juvenile
Should have paid more attention to description. This is kids book with very juvenile information, not really a good teaching tool.

Wonderful book for encouraging children to read non-fiction
The pictures in this book are simply stunning (make sure to order the color version). The readability is approximately a 3rd grade level but kids (and adults) of all ages will find this book fascinating. This would be a wonderful addition to any grade-school's library and non-fiction collection. Perfect for science fairs and book-reports that will encourage a child to learn about the ineresting world around them.

Great little book to read and doesn't require battories!
My son loved the pictures as well as liked the discussion about plants. Pictures are stunning and are great vehicle to introduce the young reader to carnivorous plants. In a age of electronic media as well as video games, this book cannot help but cause the young reader as well as older readers to pick it up and thumb through it. This book is also great for a coffee stand or living room table. I have watched more then once, a guest who was visiting, pick up the book and talk as they went through pictures.

Storytelling and Education via Beautiful Photograhy!
I found this book while searching for information. My grandson is 4 and wants me to buy him one. Anyway, I suggested to him that we do some research. Lol. He (and I) loved this book! Beautifully photographed and written in a style easily understandable by both young and old.

Fun book for young science lovers
Fell in love with this book! I think it’s perfect for 2nd to 4th graders (maybe even 5th). So informative, but the pictures are captivating and the information is made interesting for kids and uses proper vocabulary for the age level. I have even told family and friends about it. Great book.

Great Introduction To Amazing Plants
Not a care guide as such - this book is probably aimed at 10year olds and upward but interesting read for adults looking for a no fuss introduction to the plants. The book mainly covers why these plants are carnivorous, and how the look and work.It is a great little book of you're planning on introducing a youngster to these little wondrous horrors of nature.

Great for young botanists
Bought as a present for my 8 yr old grandson who has taken a liking to keeping plants that are a bit unusual. He thought it was very good.
