Gloves are large; basically functioned as expected. Socks are not proportional, couldn't use.
Main reason for 3 stars - the gloves function very well, and the Amazon price is right. But they didn't look great when new, after a month they look awful. The sizes for gloves vs socks are so far off, I doubt there are very many people would find both the gloves and the socks useful, unless they were purchased for 2 different people.GLOVES: The gloves should work well for those with larger hands - women's large or men's medium to large size gloves. Don't think they would be useful for females who wear small to med size gloves.* I use them at the start of run when weather is cold but not frigid (rub your hands together, it's the friction not the fabric that warms; for same reason, hands don't start sweating when you start warming up). But for smaller hands, worn alone they aren't going to accomplish much of anything, and as liners, would probably just be a nuisance.* These have worked very well as glove liners - the extra layer adds a little warmth. But the biggest thing is they continue to provide some warmth when performing a task that requires removing the outer insulated gloves (typing shoes, opening containers, etc), and the outer gloves slide back on much easier over the liner gloves.* Anything with Velcro or a zipper, even rough skin, snags them so badly mine looked beat to death after my first run. Still seem to work OK though.SOCKS: Socks might work for average size feet; I'm giving mine away. Socks that constrict in any way just make you colder, and may contribute to other issues as well. If you have smaller feet and you have a little extra room in your boots to accommodate these, the socks might be helpful. But who has extra large hands and small to medium feet?

they were great. I wore them under wool socks under boots ...
These liners do reflect heat and keep my extremities warm. For short excursions (e.g. 1 mile walk), they were great. I wore them under wool socks under boots to walk at 30F. For longer walks (or cross country skiing), they start to rub my skin and I developed sore spots after a 4 mile walk. I added a softer liner under and that sort of solved the problem. The glove liners were amazing. Normally my fingers are frigid while skiing for the first 15 mins or so and then warm up as my body warms up. These liners made my fingers warm from the start. My only issue was that the fabric snags on velcro and gets all fuzzy/pilled. The liners are not torn and they still work perfectly; they just look a little worn out.

It's a LINER..perhaps the best one made
it used to be easy to find these at most outdoor-centric stores but not so much anymore. Here's the deal..it's a LINER, not a sock or glove. That means it's meant to be warn under other gear..your warm socks and gloves. In that role, I've had expensive ski gloves that let my fingers freeze suddenly become performance machines with just a stinking liner. The same with performance wool socks..add liner and presto..hot foot in sub freezing temps. THESE, as cheesy as they look or as flimsy as they feel, excel at that task over tons of other, higher priced, performance liners and always have.Do they feel like silk on your skin? No. Are they fashionable? No. Do they just plain work as a super liner? Yep.and that's the job I hired them to do.

I bought some of these years ago and loved them
I was very glad when I found these. Yes, they are thin but my old ones were too but they really do help with the cold. Now that I finally found some, I am thrilled. They are thin because you wear them under your regular socks and it does definitely work. Product just like those I bought years ago and which lasted me for years too. Very happy to have found these.

They work.
These are actually knee high socks - which I don't wear. I expected shorter socks. I would have folded the ones pictured down, so the kneehighs had to be folded twice, adding too much bulk around the ankle. (They do work though, just aren't what is pictured.)The gloves fit my hands almost perfectly. The thumb is a bit long. They fit inside my gloves without adding bulk and they stay inside my gloves all the time. I work outside, at night, so I do need extra warmth for my finger tips!

Perfect base warm layer for your feet
I had a very old pair of these I used a lot on very cold and snow days. They.however, were well worn out.I had looked very hard on line to fine these. Right now I do not use the glove liners but am sure they are as great as the ones for feet. Highly recommend.

Comfy and warm.
So far so good! When I put them on the first time my finger tips became warm right away. My daughter wears hers under two pairs of work gloves that she wears in the unheated paper recycling plant in which she works. She wore the socks and gloves and said that she was very warm. They felt good on. I have average size hands and they fit very well.

Good socks
The socks work really well keeping my feet warm when I am out for a long walk here in the Northeast. The gloves don't seem to work as well and have a weird fit, at least for me. However, I have very long fingers, so that might just be the problem for me.
