This game is awesome. I bought it after seeing recommendations from child neuropsychology experts who say kids between 5-7 should play it to help build logic and early math skills for school. At first, it felt a bit confusing and even kind of boring to me. But after watching a couple of quick YouTube tutorials and playing for about 10 minutes, everything clicked. My 5-year-old son absolutely loved it!

One of our family’s favorite games. We’ve been playing it for many years, and it never gets old. Our child got into Pokémon, so we decided to switch from the classic version to the new one. It’s a bit disappointing that this version uses cardboard tokens on stands instead of plastic character figures. However, we replaced them with plastic Pokémon figures, and now playing is much more enjoyable. The game mechanics are quite simple and easy to understand, but you’ll still need to think during the game. Luck and logic will definitely come in handy. The set includes instructions in multiple languages. I highly recommend this game!

This game is great! It really challenges a wide age range while still being playable. When we play, it's usually a grandparent, me (auntie), and my 9 yr. old niece and 6 yr. old nephew.

Very simple game concept, but incredibly hard to master! My only gripe would be that the figures could have been better quality. I bought a cheap pack of Pokemon figures online and that allows for more than 4 to play and makes it more engaging. Great game! The kiddos love it.

This is an update to the following review. Over time the way the kids play with it has evolved and now they help each other get to their spot and recommend ways to do it. The 7 year old who likes to figure things out will play it by himself for long periods since each time you set the game up it is different. It works especially well for 2 people, if the move they made messed up your path you just move it back when it is your turn. It helps that this is a game that we have for our grandchildren so it isnt always available to them, but they love it. Highly recommend it. Our pokemon obsessed grandsons love this game. It can lead to a few fights when played without an adult since when each person moves the maze on their turn it messes up the planned maze for the others, which some took well, others considered it a purposeful plot to ruin their game and apparently their lives. For the rest of us, it was a lot of fun.

Got it for my 7 year old grandson and he loves it. He understood it after it was explained and he can play it with his family or friends.

My grandson loved this version. He loves Pokémon. This was the perfect game for him. His mother had a version of this game when she was little.

Very nice game. Even for a 6 years old. For adults as well.

Absolutes Knallerspiel. Macht ungeheuer viel spass. Ob alt oder jung die ganze Familie spielt es immer wieder. Kann auch schon von 6 jährigen ohne weiteres gespielt werden. Die sind meistens besser als die Erwachsenen. Wenn man dann noch Pokemon Fan ist, ist der Ergeiz geweckt seinen Lieblingspokemon so schnell wie möglich zu erreichen.

Both my 9 year old and 5 year old like the game, which is very rare. A very good buy!
