Potential buyers should understand the locking mechanism does not go across the steering wheel so it's not very visible from outside of the auto. The tool is an adjustable bar which locks the steering wheel to one of the pedals (user's choice). My bad for not realizing that but I'm still very satisfied with this steering wheel lock. It's pretty easy to attach (even for a short person), it collapses to a simple bar which can be placed against the passenger side of the console and the lock feels very secure. So, bottom line, I would recommend it.

The item arrived today. The box wasn’t sealed closed, and once I opened the box it appeared used because it was scratched and greasy. I’m surprised at how heavy and sturdy this is. Install to the brake pedal and steering wheel was very easy.Since it’s not a food product I’ll keep it - but shame on Amazon to charge me full price for a used product.

This lock added extra layer of security, since my Lexus SUVs were stolen during visiting Canada in Hotel premises, to be alert and cautious seem knee-jerk response to the consequence of this event. The lock be in place, in case in some areas I don't feel right.

With Toyotas being the number one stolen vehicles in the state where I live, I decided to buy two. One for my 4Runner and one for my Tacoma. I felt good about my investment till one of my street wise friends brought me back to reality. A thief with a large pair of bolt or chain cutters, or a hack saw, can likely cut the steering wheel in about ten seconds, rendering the lock moot.

Very nice product, solid suppose to do the job. As long as our vehicle still parked in the parking we all should be satisfied.

The lock is too short for my SUV. I think this lock doesn't fit most of the SUV.I return it.
