Snap Hoop Monster for Bernina (260 x 400mm) Magnetic Embroidery Hoop for Machine Embroidery

I must have gotten a defective product, I know many people that use this hoop and love it - mine broke after some casual use. But when I reached out to the seller, they refunded my purchase immediately - great customer service.! I was very, very pleased!

Hooping fabric for embroirdery is often time consuming. With the monster hoop I was able to do more quickly. I like that when doing continuing embroirdery, I can reinsert fabric for next stage of project more quickly. I like the lower flat sides and the magnet is super strong

Edge to edge quilting. I 'm a beginner at embroidery, but not not quilting. Put the two together and I 'm back to a beginner (sort of) lol!This hoop makes it a heck of a lot easier though.

I watched the videos and purchased this for my Bernina 880 Plus. It worked correctly for about 25 hoops then it stopped being recognized by my machine. The company sent me a troubleshooting video which did not work. It also takes the company on average 10 business days to respond to each question. The Bernina dealer stated they will not offer support for this product since it’s not a Bernina product. Save your money!

So, I got the jumbo hoop made for my Bernina 1st(on sale thankfully as it is ridiculously expensive. The monster hoop has a bigger footprint than I can effectively use on the 770, but I bought it to quilt in the hoop, not necessarily embroidery. Omg I am so in love with it. I am still learning free motion and unbearably suck. Hubby thinks it’s cheating to use embroidery designs and the hoop. It kinda is but it really makes me happy to see a polished end product. I be used it for around 15 baby quilts now and it’s holding up well.

Talk about huge!! The most bang for your buck great stitching field makes doing multiple designs possible without re hoopingWill be purchasing the 5 by 7

I am loving this so much. Doing overall quilting to fabric then making oven mitts, bowl cozies, zipper bags and anything else I can think of!

Only used this hoop about a dozen times before it broke. Clips holding connection on are very small and flimsy.

Love the hoop

When I first received this product I was very excited. It made doing my machine quilting so much easier. I did notice right away that the mechanism to hook up to the embroidery unit seemed a little flimsy but I kept it.Last week while quilting with this hoop, I heard a clunk and noticed my embroidery was off. I stopped the machine and that’s when I noticed that the entire mechanism that attaches to the module was broken. Completely snapped off! It is probably only the fifth quilt I have done using this hoop. I am sure I will get no restitution for this but since it cost me almost 300.00 to purchase I just had to let others know that this piece of equipment may not last as long as you would expect for something this expensive.I was able to finish my quilt using the hoop that came with my machine although it is not as easy to use. I have a bernina 770QE if anyone wants to know.If all DIME magnetic hoop attachment mechanisms are this poorly made, buyer beware! The mechanism is certainly not made to the same specifications as the bernina hooping mechanism. Otherwise it would have been an excellent product.
